Research On Risk Assessment And Preventive Strategies Of China-pakistan Economic Corridor

As the beginning of the Belt and Road and the sample project of regional economic cooperation between China and Pakistan,China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is a vital decision of considering the overall domestic and international situations and multidirectional opening-up patterns.It is also the top level design for establishing new systems of an open economy in China.Because of the complex domestic environment and severe security situation of Pakistan and the location of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor,it is believed that the keys of maintaining China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project are carrying out the risk assessment of terrorism and proposing preventive strategies.There are frequent terrorist activities in Pakistan,and the situation of anti-terrorism is serious.Pakistan is affected by many other factors such as international and regional political forces,problems left over by history,international terrorism,national separatism,religious extremism and tribal rebellion.According to the historical data of terrorist activities in Pakistan,this paper uses Arcgis,Natural Parting Method and Equal interval classification to make a risk assessment report of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor along area,and further analyze the main risk origin of Karachi,Peshawar,Quetta,Karate,Lahore,etc,with the level of risk.It focuses on balancing interests between international and regions,developing a multilevel wideranging international counter-terrorism cooperation pattern in the strategy level and setting up a risk control and prevention system,guided by government and in which companies should be the main players,building a national rapid response mechanism prevention strategy for foreign terrorist attack in tactical level.This paper includes six parts.The first part is introduction,research background,significance,idea,method and researches from home and abroad.The second part introduces terrorism activities in Pakistan and the present situation of anti-terror efforts.The third part analyzes deep reasons of frequent terrorist activities,which include the jungle of international power politics,problems left over by history,national secessionism,religious extremism,etc.The fourth part introduces the construction of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project and focuses on the major project and the enterprise distribution of China.In the fifth part,by analyzing past terrorist attacks data in Pakistan,this part forms out the assessment of regional risk level.The sixth part puts forward strategies of balance of interests,anti-terror cooperation,establishment of prevention system,and build the express response mechanism in strategic and tactical level on the basis of causes and assessment results of terrorist activities.
