At present,the phenomenon of "public servant fever" in China has had a huge impact on the employment structure of the entire society.As a group of civil servants is under tremendous pressure,there has been a serious phenomenon of job burnout,which has produced a large number of negative professional emotions and turnover behaviors.In addition,it will affect the performance of work performance.If these behaviors cannot be guided in time,it will cause greater social problems.Because this burnout has a greater relationship with the public service motivation of civil servants,in this era,civil servants must strengthen public service motivation,change service concepts,and actively participate in public services to promote work performance.This gives this research important theoretical and practical significance.In order to deeply study and analyze the relationship and mechanism of public service motivation and job performance,this paper conducted a questionnaire survey of civil servants in Jinan City,Shandong Province.First,it measured public service motivation,then measured its job performance,and also assumed professional happiness.Perception has a mediating effect between the two.The statistical software SPSS20.0 is used in this article.The data obtained from the questionnaire is statistically analyzed,and the relationship between the two is further verified through regression analysis and correlation analysis.The statistical analysis results in this paper show that the four dimensions of public service motivation of civil servants have significant positive correlations with their work performance;at the same time,the attractiveness,sympathy,and self-sacrifice of public policy making in public service motivation also affect the civil service career.Well-being has a positive correlation,and the commitment of public interest is not significant to professional happiness;civil servants’ professional well-being has a significant positive correlation to their job performance;professional well-being starts between the attractiveness of public policy making and job performance To the part of the intermediary effect,there is also a partial intermediary effect between the two dimensions of compassion,self-sacrifice and work performance,but there is no intermediary effect between the commitment of public interest and work performance.Through the results of this study,it is suggested that the public sector should pay more attention to individual public service motivation level in the selection,promotion and civil servant ideology,and strengthen the public service motivation level,improve work performance,and improve the professional happiness of civil servants.Promote better public sector administrative functions.
