Research On The Improvement Of The Professional Ability Of Grass-Roots Police In Changge City,Henan Province

The Third Plenary Session of the 18 th CPC Central Committee clearly put forward the requirements of "building China under the rule of law",As an important part of the rule of law in China,the construction of public security requires the people’s police to have a high level of capability.At present,the new situation of China’s economic and social development and the new needs of the public security work have brought new opportunities to the public security work and posed new challenges to the professional ability of the public security police.It is of great significance to enhance the professional ability of police for their own career development,internal stability and social stability.In recent years,the current social situation of our country has increasingly strict requirements on law enforcement environment and law enforcement level.Due to the reasons such as inaccurate occupational ability positioning,unclear understanding of occupational particularity and insufficient grasping of occupational requirements,the occupational ability of grassroots policemen from different recruitment sources is uneven,and some problems arised in the overall structure,training mechanism and assessment of the professional ability of grassroots police,which affect and restrict the healthy development of police work and team construction to some extent.Based on all above,this paper,taking Changge municipal public security bureau as an example,investigated and analyzed the status quo of the professional ability of grassroots police from four sources: police school graduation,social recruitment,army career transfer and other ways through questionnaire survey.Meanwhile,the influence of the diversity of recruitment sources on the professional ability of grassroots police in Changge municipal public security bureau was analyzed statistically,as well as the problems existing in the overall structure,training mechanism and assessment of vocational ability.Based on the reality of publicsecurity work,combined with the guidance of theory,in view of the existing problems,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and Suggestions to improve the professional ability of grassroots police for reference,in order to further improve the ability of public security police to perform their duties,and to provide useful reference for strengthening the fighting ability of public security police.
