The Research On The Improvement Of Emergency Management Mechanism Of Sichuan WX Vocational College

In recent years,the occurrence of emergencies in higher vocational colleges has been frequent,and increasing year by year,which has aroused the high attention of the educational circles and society.It has seriously affected the life and property safety of students as well as has become one of the most important problems hindering the development of higher vocational colleges in China.The cultivation and growth of college students are related to the future development of the motherland.Since the expansion of university enrollment in our country,many higher vocational colleges have lowered the standard score of admission in order to meet the requirements of the enrollment plan.The increase in the number of students has,to a certain extent,caused the frequent occurrence of campus emergencies,which has brought many negative affects to students,schools and society as a whole.At present,there are still many problems in dealing with campus emergencies in higher vocational colleges in China.Starting with the concept of emergency handling,this essay makes inductive analysis on the basis of the characteristics and nature of emergencies in higher vocational colleges,taking Sichuan WX Vocational College as the research object,uses public policy analysis and public resource allocation as the theoretical basis and combines the methods of literature review,case analysis,questionnaire survey,etc.By collecting the relevant information about the emergency of Sichuan WX Vocational College,the essay tries to further study the problems in the emergency management of higher vocational colleges.After the investigation and final summary,it is found that there are several characteristics of emergencies in higher vocational colleges,such as complex appearance,severe negative impact and high degree of concern,etc.The current focus of prevention and control in higher vocational campus has been spread to all aspects,including security incidents,psychological problems,campus security,on-line safety and so on.In response to emergencies,there are many problems in Sichuan WX Vocational College,such as inadequate prevention,inadequate institutions,inadequate material preparation,and the immature cooperation with relevant social public institutions organizations.From the aspect of students,there are some characteristics of them like values distortion,psychological immaturity and impulsive behavior.So school should properly handle the relevant emergencies by improving the relevant system,establishing a mechanism for pre-alarm of sudden events as well as for dealing with problems and for the aftermath.Prevention and early warning is the focus.Emergency response is the core and recovery and reconstruction is the key.Scientific means and methods should be adopted to strengthen the monitoring of the campus environment like establishing emergency management leadership group,strengthening the pre-,during and after-the-fact management,and be good at summing up experience and drawing lessons,so as to form a long-term effective emergency management mechanism.
