Since the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the government has introduced some relevant policies for vocational education,gradually strengthened the emphasis on vocational education,which has promoted the development of vocational education to a certain extent.However,with the expansion of the scale of higher vocational colleges in Fuzhou,higher vocational teachers are facing more and more work pressure,which leads to many teachers in higher vocational colleges feel career fatigue and career satisfaction decreases.Therefore,this paper takes teachers of vocational colleges in Fuzhou as research subjects to know their career happiness,hoping to provide some suggestions and references for improving the career satisfaction of teachers in vocational colleges.This paper mainly takes the new public management theory,expectation theory and EGR needs theory as the theoretical basis.Based on the comprehensive literature at home and abroad,and combined with the professional situation of teachers in Fuzhou vocational colleges,eight key factors affecting the professional happiness of teachers in vocational colleges are determined.Specifically for interpersonal relations,school management,working environment,salary and welfare,teacher evaluation,work pressure,personal development,value realization.Based on the analysis results of influencing factors,a questionnaire was designed,and the IPA analysis of the survey results found that there was a significant gap between teachers in vocational colleges in terms of career happiness,and the overall level was average.Based on the analysis of the current situation,it is found that the teachers of higher vocational colleges in Fuzhou generally have such problems as poor working environment,task pressure exceeding the tolerable range,unbalanced salary and welfare level,and social and cultural bias.Aiming at the causes of the lack of professional happiness of teachers in Fuzhou higher vocational colleges,this paper puts forward the following four suggestions,including: First,strengthen the school’s support for higher vocational teachers.In order to improve the professional happiness of teachers,schools should give teachers comprehensive material and spiritual support from many aspects,such as the working atmosphere and the sound training system.Secondly,give play to the role of trade unions in improving vocational teachers’ career happiness,trade unions should suggest at the institutional level to give full play to the function of teaching congress,guarantee teachers’ salary and organize various activities by "teachers’ home" to help vocational teachers improve their career happiness;Third,strengthen the government’s guidance to vocational teachers,from the guarantee of vocational teachers’ welfare and improve the career promotion mechanism and planning guidance,to provide guidance and support for improving vocational teachers’ career happiness;Fourth,eliminate social prejudice to build social recognition of higher vocational teachers,so that teachers in the community recognition has been greatly increased. |
