Research On Xi Jinping’s Political Security Concept

Political security is related to the party’s long-term governance,long-term stability of the country,and the people’s well-being.As socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics has made tremendous progress,and the Chinese nation is increasingly embarking on a grand road of great rejuvenation.However,on the road to recovery,China is facing various challenges which come from domestic and foreign.There must be a strong consciousness of risk in achieving political security,grasping major issues and key issues,focusing on solving outstanding conflicts in the maintenance of political security,so as to realize the consolidation of the party ’s ruling position and the development and progress of the socialist cause with Chinese characteristics.Therefore,since the 18 th National Congress of the Party,Xi Jinping has attached great importance to the issue of political security,who has elaborated political security from different aspects,forming a relatively systematic and complete concept of political security.Xi Jinping’s political security concept provides a fundamental compliance for the practices of political security.Under the guideline of dialectical materialism and historical materialism,this paper will elaborate Xi Jinping’s political security concept by the method of unifying theory and practice,unifying history and logic,and contradiction analysis.Based on study of the current academic circles,this paper analyzes the background and basis of the formation of Xi Jinping’s political security concept,condenses and summarizes the main content of Xi Jinping’s political security concept,and clarifies Xi Jinping’s political security concept’s distinctive features and great significance.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part is an introduction,clarifying the research background and significance of Xi’s political security concept,research status,related concepts,research content,methods and innovations.The second part discusses Xi’s political security concept from the background,theory and practical foundation.The third part made clear the main content of Xi’s political security concept into four points:whom political security is for,who depends on political security,what kind of political security is maintained and how to maintain political security.The fourth part analyzes and summarizes the distinctive features and great significance of Xi’s political security concept.The four parts systematically present the basic features of Xi’s political security concept.
