Research On Xi Jinping’s Political Security Concept

Political security is the foundation of national security.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,China has attached great importance to political security issues,and Xi Jinping has elaborated on a series of new ideas,new viewpoints and new judgments on issues related to political security,in the process of continuous development and improvement,a relatively complete system of Xi Jinping’s political security concept has gradually formed,providing scientific theoretical guidance for national political security work in the new era.The study mainly uses literature research method,comparative research method and systematic analysis method,through the study of Xi Jinping’s related discourse on political security,exploring the process and theoretical origins of Xi Jinping’s political security concept,summarizing the main connotations from four aspects: sovereignty,regime,institution and ideology,summarizing the characteristics: affinity to the people,systematicness,pacifism,contemporaneity,and exploring the value of Xi Jinping’s political security concept from theoretical and practical perspectives.At the same time,basing on the fact,the main issues of current political security faced by China are elaborated from four aspects: sovereignty,regime,institution and ideology,including sovereignty and territorial issues,governance environment issues,institutional development issues,ideological issues.In order to implement Xi Jinping’s political security concept,consider and propose five paths:upholding the leadership of the Communist Party of China,improving the system of Chinese socialism,mastering the leadership,administrative power and discourse power of ideological work,strengthening the self construction of the Communist Party of China and constructing a security community.Basing on the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,the paper systematically studies Xi Jinping’s political security concept by using the Marxist standpoint,viewpoints and methods,in order to deepen the systematic understanding of Xi Jinping’s political security concept,enrich the research results of Xi Jinping’s political security concept and provide a theoretical reference for making national political security work more efficient and orderly in the new era.
