Research On The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of The Development Of Community Voluntary Service In Yangzhou

In China,voluntary service is a public welfare social cause to promote social progress and development,and to a certain extent,it also promotes the level of human civilization.After the reform and opening up,China’s community voluntary service has entered a period of accelerated development.The government has begun to actively support the development of community voluntary service.Community voluntary service has played a positive role in the construction of grass-roots political civilization,social governance,and improving the quality of life of residents.Yangzhou city’s voluntary service work has been gradually developed since 2000,and community voluntary service work has been gradually started and developed into a scale since 2006.In order to develop Yangzhou community voluntary service,the government and voluntary service organizations have made positive efforts.The government has set up a series of documents,built an activity information platform,standardized the construction of voluntary service organizations,carried out characteristic activities,and made efforts to create a good environment for the development of community voluntary service.Yangzhou community volunteer service organization type and service content are also very rich,basically meet the daily needs of community residents,but Yangzhou community volunteer service is still in the early stage of development,the government support is not enough,the social participation is not high,the volunteer service organization system is not perfect and a series of constraints continue to emerge.Based on the research and application of public domain theory,third-party management theory and Maslow’s demand level theory,this paper analyzes the current situation of Yangzhou’s community voluntary service development by means of literature,questionnaire and so on,focusing on the analysis of the problems in the development of Yangzhou’s community voluntary service,studying the reasons in detail,and drawing on the experience and development mode of some western developed countries’ community voluntary service,As well as some typical community experiences in China,this paper puts forward corresponding suggestions from three aspects:government support,social participation and self construction of community voluntary service organizations.The research on the current situation and Countermeasures of Yangzhou community voluntary service development has certain practical significance for further promoting the development of Yangzhou community voluntary service,promoting the transformation of government functions,and playing a good combination of government,voluntary organizations and social forces.
