The Research On The Development Of College Students’ Volunteer Service Organizations In China

As a noble social cause,voluntary service plays an important role in meeting the growing needs of the people for a better life and promoting the progress of social civilization.At present,the development of volunteer service in China is in full swing,which has been highly valued by the Party Central Committee.The report clearly put forward the requirement of vigorously developing voluntary service.As an important part of our country’s voluntary service organizations,college students’ voluntary service organizations rose in the mid-1990 s and have a history of more than 20 years.In the process of development,university student volunteer service organizations have increased the number of organizations,expanded the scale of organizations,expanded the field of volunteer service,and improved the effect of volunteer service.however,with the rapid increase in the number of College Students’ volunteer service organizations and the drastic changes in the social environment,the development of College Students’ volunteer service organizations is facing some new problems,such as the self-construction of College Students’ volunteer service organizations needs to be improved,the management system is not perfect,and the lack of external security and so on.These problems largely restrict the development of College Students’ volunteer service organizations in China.Therefore,it is necessary for us to strengthen the guidance of the development of College Students’ voluntary service organizations,give full play to their role in social governance,and promote the coordinated development of society.Starting from the field research,this paper makes an in-depth understanding of the development of university student volunteer service organizations,analyses the difficulties they face and their causes,and explores the countermeasures to promote the development of university student volunteer service organizations based on the practice of domestic and foreign university student volunteer service organizations.Firstly,the article combs and defines the relevant concepts of university student volunteer service organization,such as volunteer service,volunteer service organization and university student volunteer service organization.Secondly,this paper takes h University in Wuhan City of Hubei Province as an example,conducts empirical investigation through field interviews and other forms to understand the problems encountered by h University volunteer service organizations in thecurrent development process and the causes of the problems.At the same time,it compares the existing problems and their causes in the development of other university students’ volunteer service organizations by searching literature,and summarizes the University Students’ volunteer service groups.Common problems in weaving development.Finally,drawing on the successful experience of the development of University Students’ voluntary service organizations at home and abroad,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to promote the development of University Students’ voluntary service organizations in China: improving their own functions,standardizing the management system,and improving the social coordination mechanism so as to promote the healthy development of University Students’ voluntary service.
