Abstract/Summary:
As the accelerating of reforms and development of information technology,instead of traditional logistic work,back office policeman’s daily work is gradually turning into communicating information,analyzing data.The work scope of back office policeman covers a wider range of high standard works,which makes that we need to have choose the excellent person to be as a back-office policeman.Therefore,it is a worthy topic to discuss how to choose the best back office policeman and how to improve their work performance.Competency Modeling is effective to improve the management of Human Resources,in foreign company as well as in the third department.The thesis takes Shanghai Public Security Bureau Jiading Branch as an example,by exploring the competency modeling of back office policeman and the innovative human resources management,to improve their work performance.The thesis comprises six chapters.Chapter 1: General introduction,in which is to expound the purpose and significance by reviewing the research and application status of the competency model.Chapter 2: Introduce the theory of competency.Chapter 3: Introduce the duty of back office policeman,and expound the procedure of establishing model.We combine Literatures Reference,Experts Discussion and Work Analysis to screen out 9 competency indexes-Initiative,Teamwork and Cooperation,Interpersonal Understanding,Analytical Thinking,Relationship Building,Self-Control,Organization Perceptivity,Self-Confidence,Achievement Orientation.Chapter 4: Use the competency model in Police Station.Chapter 5: To explore the competency model in the application of Human Resource Management System.Chapter 6: A summary to this research that we point out the limitation of the study as well as give a future direction of the research.
