Research On Zhang Hongfan’s Poetry

Zhang Hongfan was a famous general in the north at the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty,which left brilliant achievements in history.Moreover,he was also a representative figure in the northern poetry circle in the early Yuan Dynasty,and his poetry works had unique ingenuity in the history of literature.When the Jin and Yuan Dynasties changed,wars continued,the society was very unstable,and the people took refuge far away from their hometown.Under such circumstances,Zhang Hongfan was born into a military general’s family and he is a general.Therefore,he has a deeper understanding of the change of dynasties.Hong Fan integrates this feeling into his poetry creation and regrets the changes of the world and hovering between the ideal and reality.His poetry creation has literary value,cultural value and historical value.This thesis takes the 126 poems of Zhang Hongfan included in Quanyuan poetry edited by Mr.Yang sickle as the research object,refers to the Huaiyang collection of the four storehouses of Wenyuan Pavilion,and combined with Zhang Hongfan’s life experience and friendship thought,analyzes the rich and colorful theme content,sincere and sensible emotional tendency,non stick to one style and characteristics of Zhang Hongfan’s poetry,so as to excavate the status value of Zhang Hongfan’s poetry and its influence on future generations.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,the main body of this thesis is divided into five parts:The first chapter combs Zhang Hongfan’s life and friends.This chapter investigates Zhang Hongfan’s family background,and combs his life experience and poetry creation in three stages: the period of learning and accumulating skills,the period of being an official and stabilizing the society,and the period of personally fighting to calm the chaos.And explore the relationship between Hong Fan and literati soldiers and the influence in the process of making friends.At the same time,it investigates a kind of people mentioned in his poetry but whose identity is unknown,and briefly analyzes the source of pluralistic ideas in Hongfan’s poetry.The second chapter classifies Zhang Hongfan’s poetry according to the theme.This chapter takes Zhang Hongfan’s 126 poems as the research object.According to the subject matter and content,his poems are divided into four categories: chanting things,chanting war,sending friends and farewell,and chanting history and cherishing ancient poetry.On this basis,it further systematically clarifies the main contents and emphases of Zhang Hongfan’s poetry.The third chapter discusses the emotional tendency of Zhang Hongfan’s poetry.This chapter excavates the three main emotional attitudes in Zhang Hongfan’s poetry,such as the love of calligraphy and painting and seclusion,the ambition of experiencing war and heroism,the feeling of visiting ancient places of interest and sadness in the past,traces the source and specific performance of Zhang Hongfan’s emotion,and excavates the poet’s inner world and his career ideal and self ideal in life through these emotional attitudes.The fourth chapter expounds the style and characteristics of Zhang Hongfan’s poetry.This chapter discusses the style and skills of Zhang Hongfan’s poetry.In terms of poetry style,it mainly analyzes three mainstream styles: leisurely and peaceful,heroic and refreshing,cold and sad;In terms of poetic skills,it summarizes the superb writing skills of the poet,such as using allusions,skillfully using overlapping words and being good at writing quatrains.The fifth chapter summarizes the significance and value of Zhang Hongfan’s poetry.This chapter deeply analyzes the status and value of Zhang Hongfan’s poetry and the impact of his poetry on future generations,and summarizes the multiple values of Zhang Hongfan’s poetry,such as literary value,cultural value and historical value,from three aspects: carrying forward the pluralistic competition and victory of Dayuan atmosphere,continuing the poetic concept of Tang degu,inheriting scenery and folk customs,and supplementing history with poetry.
