| "Ye" is a modern Chinese adverb with high frequency of use,whether in daily communications or in written expressions.It has various meanings and complicated usages.In the 1980 s,the noumenon analysis of "Ye" has been conducted in the field of linguistics in China and the research results are innumerable.In the foreign language teaching,the adverb “Ye” is got in the primary stage.Because of the complexity of its meanings,the international students may make errors when learning the adverb “Ye”.Therefore,it is especially important to study the errors that international students make when they learn this adverb.This thesis analyzes the learning of "Ye" of international students,who are native English speakers,in the HSK dynamic composition corpus,by statistical analysis method.Chinese and English are two different languages with distinct differences,so the study group will naturally be affected by their mother tongue in the process of Chinese learning.This thesis classifies errors by means of erroranalysis,and analyzes the causes of errors,in order to make the corresponding teaching recommendations.This article is divided into six major sections.The introduction of the first part mainly includes the research background and research significance of the article,and at the same time briefly expounds the research status of the adverb "also",introduces the theoretical basis and research methods of this thesis,lists the sources of corpus,and analyzes the writing ideas.The second chapter introduces diverse types of errors.This thesis divides errors into four categories,that is,mixed-usage,omission,addition and wrong sequence,in which mixed-usage is the most common one.The third chapter analyzes the causes of errors.This thesis summarizes the causes of errors as the mother tongue negative migration,the rule generalization of the target language,the insufficient guidance in teaching and the incomplete understandings of the rules of target language.The fourth part makes some suggestions for the theoretical study of the adverb "also",namely to strengthen the comparative study of "also" and to strengthen the acquisition of “Ye”.The fifth chapter makes the teaching recommendations from the aspects of theoretical research,teachers and learners,aiming at reducing errors that native English speakers may make when they learn the Chinese adverb “Ye”.The sixth part summarizes the other parts,while pointing out the innovation points of this thesis and the shortcomings of this research. |
