| Chinese education of Malaysia is the supreme in Southeast Asia and even the world.Chinese language teachers in Malaysia are a bridge of exchanges and a bond of friendship between China and Malaysia,it is the fundamental guarantee for promoting Chinese education to a new level in Malaysia.To enhance the overall quality of Chinese language teachers,China and Malaysia have organized a series of training activities for Chinese language teachers to transfer among China or Malaysia.However,with the spread of COVID-19 in 2020,the training of Chinese language teachers in Malaysia is facing great difficulties and challenges,so it is very important to carry out online short-term training in an orderly manner for Chinese language teachers in Malaysia.In this context,author combined with own work experience as an assistant of overseas Chinese teachers online short-term training organized by Liaoning Normal University,investigated and studied the situation of online short-term training for Malaysian Chinese teachers and analyzed their practical difficulties.Expected to propose practical solutions to improve the quality and efficiency of online short-term training for Chinese teachers in Malaysia,to help the construction of Chinese teaching staff in Malaysia,and to provide reference for the online training of Chinese teachers and even the construction of teaching staff in other countries.Firstly,this thesis discusses the background of topic selection,research purpose and significance,research content and methods,and research review.Secondly,it discusses the current situation of Chinese teachers in Malaysia,questionnaire and semi-structured interview were used to investigate and analyze the basic information,teaching information and information of Malaysian Chinese teachers who had participated in online short-term training [highlighting the scope of research object].Thirdly,it is concluded that the online short-term training of Malaysian Chinese teachers has advantages of large contingent of Chinese teachers,strong support from Chinese associations and the Chinese community,promotion of Chinese culture,save training cost and expand training scope.It is pointed out that the current online short-term training of Chinese teachers in Malaysia is faced with the reality dilemma of a complex teacher structure and different training needs,lack of pertinence in training contents and methods,uneven distribution of training resources,lack of long-term and orderly online training system.Finally,according to the research results,solutions are proposed from the macro,medium and micro levels: At the macro level,the Chinese government should strengthen standardized management of training and optimize online training system.The Malaysian government should provide solid and powerful guarantee for participation in the training and deepen cooperation and exchanges between China and Malaysia.Malaysia "UCSCAM & UCSTAM" should expand the scope of cooperation in online training,increase the reduction of registration fees,and coordinate high-quality online training resources together.At the medium level,Chinese language schools should reduce the workload of Chinese language teachers,encourage them to participate in training,organize teaching competitions and improve teaching standards,implement class teaching to ensure teaching quality;Organizers should pay attention to the uniqueness of the training for Chinese teachers,make full demand analysis before training and strengthen online technical service support.At the micro level,Chinese language teachers should identify their own training needs,enhance self-discipline,pay attention to time management;Teachers should optimize course content,attach importance to communication and interaction,and refine teaching language. |
