“Jade chopsticks seal script”,known as the most authentic seal,traces back to Li Si in the Qin Dynasty.As a link between ancient and modern characters,it has a profound and lasting influence and an important position in the development of the history of Chinese calligraphy art and the evolution of characters.Since the 20 th century,with the rapid development of social economy and the rapid breakthrough of science and technology,computer technology has injected new vitality into the font design industry.Font design has entered its own new era with the fast development of digital media.Computer technology has ushered in a great opportunity for the innovative research of jade chopsticks seal script.At the same time,the jade chopsticks seal script also brings exquisite creative elements to the font design.This paper optimizes the innovative design based on the stroke and font characteristics of jade chopsticks seal script.In the design,it not only retains its original characteristics,but also optimizes it in combination with the requirements of font design,so as to design a font that meets its aesthetics and recognition of contemporary fonts.This paper summarizes the origin and historical development of jade chopsticks seal script,the characteristics of stroke structure and the works of its representatives,as well as the related concepts of computer font.This paper analyzes the design principle,enforceability and operation of the font design of the jade chopsticks seal script,studies the design process of the font design of the jade chopsticks seal script,including its stroke,font,structure and typesetting.Taking this as a guide to design a new set of jade chopsticks seal script and apply it.This paper focuses on the design ideas and methods,discusses the font application,and promotes the combination and dissemination of traditional Chinese character culture and modern computer font.To sum up,I hope that through the font design of jade chopsticks seal script,the traditional calligraphy art can develop better in the future.
