With the rapid development of China’s urbanization process,many migrant workers leave their hometown to work in developed cities,making their own modest contribution to the urban construction.At the same time,With the raised of the number of migrant workers,a new special group,that is,left-behind children,has emerged.The lack of family affection caused by their parents going out to work may bring life confusion to the left-behind children.Moreover,friendship plays a more important role in the peer relationship of teenagers.The aim of this paper is to explore the impact of self-concept clarity on friendship quality among left-behind children,and to explore the effect of their impact on friendship quality by intervening with self-concept clarity.This paper includes three studies.Study1 a pair of Anhui 4 school 1300 primary and secondary school students to self-concept clarity scale and friendship quality scale questionnaire,to understand the primary and secondary school students self-concept clarity,friendship quality,and explore the left-behind children self-concept clarity on friendship quality,provide certain basis for intervention research.Study 2and Study 3 is to investigate whether the self-concept clarity intervention program has a obvious effect on the quality of friendship of left-behind children.There are two(1)direct group coaching programs based on group dynamics and(2)autobiographical memory indirect self-concept clarity.The specific results are as follows:(1)The self-concept clarity and friendship quality of left-behind children should be significantly lower than the self-concept clarity and friendship quality of non-left-behind children;(2)The self-concept clarity of left-behind children is significantly different in gender,age when left behind,and frequency of parents returning home.There is no obvious difference in left-behind children in grade,residence,whether the only child,parents go out,frequency of contact with their parents,and contact information with their parents;(3)The quality of friendship between left-behind children varies significantly in gender and grade,but not significantly in the place of residence,whether the only child,age,parents going out,length of parents going out,frequency of contact,and contact information with their parents;(4)The self-concept clarity of left-behind children is clearly positively related with the friendship quality.The regression analysis results show that the self-concept clarity can clearly positively predict the friendship quality;(5)This study developed a self-concept clarity intervention program.Both programs had certain intervention effects on self-concept clarity,but the intervention effect of counseling program 1 was ideal than that of counseling program 2. |
