Shen Yinmo（1883-1971）was a famous calligrapher,educator,poet and scholar in modern times.He is a calligrapher of inscriptions and the most famous calligrapher in modern China.Shen Yin Mo kai,line,grass style,mainly taken from the Dharma post ink,from rice into the Wei and Jin dynasties,the pursuit of the aesthetic taste of the two Kings.This paper with the help of literature books to research,fully explore the existing data of the basis,to Shen Yinmo family and life experience as the background,from Shen Yinmo calligraphy style,it is divided into three periods Shen Yinmo calligraphy art style characteristics,early books,easy,middle books take method,handsome elegant,late books return to post,people are old,so formed the show yi vigorous calligraphy art style.Then study the causes of Shen Yinmo’s calligraphy style,calligraphy method,calligraphy thought and creative practice,which has certain reference significance for the study and research of modern and contemporary calligraphy.
