In the 1990 s,with the transition of China’s economic system, the writing of intellectuals has also undergone corresponding changes. The "1990s",as the time context of the construction of "Jiangnan" space for intellectuals,is also an important narrative age in the Jiangnan Trilogy. Therefore, the "1990s" has become an inescapable contextual premise of this paper. So,this paper firstly investigates the relationship between "1990s" and Ge Fei’s intellectual writing. From the perspective of metaphysics, this paper takes space as the analysis method, and mainly takes Lefebvre’s concept of "trialectics" as the theoretical framework of the whole paper, and studies Ge Fei’s construction of "Jiangnan" in Jiangnan Trilogy. The construction and presentation focus on Giddens’ s "disembeding" mechanism to evoke the appearance of space. That is,Huajiashe, the dialectical development and concrete practice of a traditional or modern "peach garden",and analyzes the dialectical development and specific practice of utopian space in Jiangnan. Thus, with the help of the intermediary of spatial codes,we can interpret the complex meaning of "Jiangnan" between history and literature. In the first chapter, the author explains the multi-dimensional construction of "Jiangnan" by Ge Fei,who is a Jiangnan people in Jiangnan Trilogy, and enters it with the revolution of modern time. From the perspective of social significance of space, the author reveals the transformation process of place-space of Jiangnan in the Peach Blossom Paradise.Through the representation form of architecture, the revolutionary codes embedded in the text and the era are deeply explored. The second chapter focuses on the representational space of Jiangnan, through the concept of "Utopia" to examine the centurial changes of Chinese Utopia in the external space of the text,as well as the change of the meaning of Huajiashe within the text in the historical context to examine the Utopia impulse and practice contained in it.The third chapter, further examines the people living in Jiangnan from the spiritual space level, that is,the construction of Utopia, discusses how the revolutionaries/intellectuals in Jiangnan became the "marginal people" or "outsiders" of the era. And,from the late Qing Dynasty to the present era, this sense of alienation and loneliness has always been rooted in the psychological space of intellectuals, and clings to practitioners, resulting in intellectuals always unable to get rid of.Finally, through the discussion of three chapters, this paper attempts to explain that the "Jiangnan" constructed by Ge Fei in the Jiangnan Trilogy, presents that only a utopian illusion whether it is the macro level of the era or the micro level of the individuals, intellectuals are unable to effectively intervene in history with the help of such a utopian impulse. However,in the contemporary society and future life, individual’s expectation and construction of Utopia still has a positive power that cannot be underestimated. |
