In all kinds of style of Chiense movies, there is a kind of film based on regions south of the Yangtze River of China, which we named as Jiangnan Film. Being fundamentally influenced by Jiangnan Culture, and portraying life and history of this place, Jiannan Film developed a poetry style.Jiangnan Film has been divided in three period of time, as 1930 to 1949, 1950 to 1978 and 1979 to now. Analysing primary films on space theory, this article tries to find the feature of Jiannan Film and its complicated relationship with society and history.In the phrase of 1930-1949, based the analysis on Wild Rose, The Little Toys, Daughter of the Fishing Family, Spring Silkworms, Song of a Kind Mother and Spring in the Small Town, I find there are always confrantation of natural Jiangnan and capitalistic abstract space. On the other hand, the poetry of these films'image weakened the misery subjects.In the next phrase, I choose Spring of Peace, Withered Trees Revive, Early Spring, The Shop of Family Lin, Stage Sisters and The Story of Liubao Village as the main works, which represent replcing of nature Jiangnan to political Jiangnan. We can also find the influence of directors'artistic intuition in these films.In the third phrase, I choose some films of town theme and nostalgic theme as the object of study. Representing a style of conservative and outmoded, films of town Jiangnan havn't any achieve success. The nostalgic have been a part of congnitive mapping of globle postmodern cultrue.Finally, Comparing north peasantry movie Li Shuangshuang with Sericulturing Girls of Jiangnan Film, I find Jiangnan Films have been represented in poetry styles that have been strongly influenced by Jiangnan Culture. The visual symbol of Jiangnan Film has also confirmed the poetry stlye.In different social and economical conditions,"Jiangnan"was represented as"pastoral dream","political Jiangnan"and"nostalgic Jiangnan". In any case,"natural Jiangnan"is always fundamental image in these Jiangnan Film. How Jiangnan Film will go on in today's China movies, should depend on realizing meanings of localization in this globlized day.
