| Antonio Lopez Garcia（hereinafter referred to as Lopez）,the representative of Spanish figurative realism painting,is known as "the most outstanding living realist painter" by the world.On the one hand,his creations reflect the inheritance of traditional realism,on the other hand,he is influenced by modernism in the choice of subject matter.Lopez mainly depicts his life in his paintings.His family,scenes at home,and cityscapes are the sources of inspiration for his creations.He conveys his perception of ordinary things sincerely by his simple brushwork.This paper focuses on the construction of "life picture" in Spanish painter Antonio Lopez Garcia’s new figurative paintings.The article is divided into four chapters: The first three chapters discuss the construction of life picture in Lopez’s figurative painting: Chapter One summarizes the reasons why Lopez chose figurative expression by reviewing Lopez’s life and the change of style;The second chapter explores the elements of life picture construction in the picture through image analysis combined with Lopez’s viewing angle,painting language and the relationship between time,space and light in the picture;The third chapter discusses the spiritual dimension in Lopez’s painting creation.In the fourth chapter of this paper,combining with the case study of Lopez,the author summarizes the creation during the postgraduate period,summarizes the practical experience in creation and the perception of figurative painting.Through the in-depth study of the life picture construction in Lopez’s paintings,I have deepened my understanding of figurative paintings and my cognition of "truth",which makes me constantly explore and question in the process of creation,and then explore a painting language with the theme of living environment and continuous development. |
