Folds Of Narrative ——A Study Of Transmedia Narrative In Printmaking

In the field of contemporary printmaking,the phenomenon of cross-media has become the norm.The emergence of this phenomenon is based on the era background of media integration and the cross-media reconstruction of the modernization of traditional media.The author focuses on the artist’s narrative construction as the foothold of cross-media creation.This article firstly traces the discussion of media and narrative triggered by modernism.And then states the theoretical research on transmedia narrative and its characteristics in fine arts.Then discusses the specific creative method of transmedia narrative with the case of artists.Finally,it analyzes the connection between the inherent creative logic of printmaking and the phenomenon of cross-media creation expansion,so as to further analyze the printmaking from the cross-media transformation in form,explore the multiple motivations behind the transmedia narrative creation of printmaking,and provide more possible paths for the modernization of printmaking art.
