| Kunlun Mountain is not only the spiritual home of Chinese ancestors,but also the home of Taoist immortals.It is also a high mountain located in the northwest of the Central Plains.In the poetry creation of Tang Dynasty,the poets integrated their own aesthetic experience and emotional interest,interwoven myth with geography,imagination with reality,and further enriched the connotation of "Kunlun".In a specific situation,"Kunlun" has become a medium to express the poet’s unique feelings.This article takes"the Kunlun imagery research in the Tang poetry" as the topic,the main content altogether divides into four parts:The first part traces and explains the origin of "Kunlun" and defines the concept of"Kunlun imagery".This paper sorts out the documents,classics and poems before the Tang Dynasty,and clarifies the origin and development of "Kunlun" through the mutual confirmation of the two.Qu Yuan first wrote "Kunlun" into his poems and endowed it with the basic connotation of ideal world.During the Han,Wei,Northern and Southern Dynasties,the reality of "Kunlun" was gradually strengthened on the basis of the former,and the poet’s desire for longevity was injected into it.The term "Kunlun" has been used for a long time and its meaning is complicated.The view of Kunlun Mountain is accepted by most people.The image of "Kunlun" in this paper refers to the imagery of Kunlun as the core in Tang poetry,or refers to "Kunlun" by other names,or replaces "Kunlun" with the integral part of Kunlun Mountain.According to the content of Kunlun imageries in the Tang Dynasty,it can be divided into three aspects:mythical Kunlun,living Kunlun and natural Kunlun,with an unprecedented range of expression.The second part is intended to describe the mythical world of Kunlun and the spiritual world of Tang people in the mythical poetry of "Kunlun Imageries".The God Man,the God Land,the Phoenix and the Blue Bird constituted a free and immortal Kunlun paradise,which increased the connotation of the mythical Kunlun.Poets express their desire to live forever by flying free and taking divine medicine.On the contrary,some poets realized the vanity of seeking immortality and satirized reality through stories such as Han Wu’s seeking immortality.The Tang Dynasty national strength is prosperous,enters the official path to be diverse,the poet participates in politics the enthusiasm to be unprecedentedly high.Poets usually regard the immortal world of Kunlun as spiritual sustenance,or express the vision of participating in politics,or express the desire to retire.The third part is intended to explore the main content of living "Kunlun Imageries"poetry.The content of Kunlun imagery is transformed from mythical life to real life.First of all,the image of Kunlun to describe the life of Taoism.Taoist temples and Taoist priests are the main body of Taoist life,and the natural environment and man-made buildings of Taoist temples show the characteristics of fairyland.Secondly,the imagery of Kunlun is used to show the royal life.The Empress Dowager,the princess,and the courtiers of the literati had a feast,which was an important part of their daily life.Royal banquet heartily happy,slightly tipsy,people vaguely conscious,such as into the Kunlun God,the immortal life metaphor refers to the palace banquet.Finally,Kunlun imageries are used to describe the life of literati.The life of the literati in the Tang Dynasty was mainly embodied in their love affairs and the interest of watching the mountains.Scholars often use female immortals to describe female crowns or prostitutes,and "Kunlun Mountain" is also transformed from the expression of immortal feelings to human feelings.In the Tang Dynasty,living "Kunlun Imageries" poetry quite scale,showing a secular nature.The fourth part is intended to explore the main content of natural "Kunlun Imageries"poetry.Kunlun Mountain is part of the geographical space,Kunlun imagery is also a geographical imagery,so this part uses the "geographical imagery research method." As the northwestern mountain,"Kunlun" has the characteristics of faraway,steep uplift and cold,which adds the heroic and tragic beauty to the war writing.As the source of the Yellow River in imagination,"Kunlun" embodies distinct cultural tendency.Kunlun Mountain is famous for producing jade.Kunshan jade is precious and rare.It is often used to attach all kinds of precious things or excellent talents,showing a tendency of literary allusions.In a word,the Kunlun imagery in Tang Dynasty,based on the continuation of mythological imagery,showed a clear tendency of transition from mythology to real life.As a naturalized imagery,it has been greatly developed in the Tang Dynasty.The content and theme of its expression are both inherited and innovated,with uninterrupted creativity.The imagery of Kunlun Mountain carries the thoughts and feelings of the Tang Dynasty,and has the characteristics of ambiguity,emotion and metaphor.Therefore,the study of Kunlun imageries in Tang poetry can better grasp the spiritual characteristics of the emotional world of Tang people,and better explore the cultural flavor and artistic charm of Tang poetry. |
