With the expansion of the territory of the Tang Dynasty,the scope of literati’s activities became wider,and with the addition of such activities as joining the army,imperial examinations,relegating,exiling,and studying and traveling,parting,"on the way" and "in hometown of others" became the normal life of literati.Judging from the search of the existing Tang poems,the frequency of use of the "duckweed" imagery far exceeds that of previous generations.The imagery of duckweed in Tang poetry also presents the life conditions and rich emotional world of poets in the Tang Dynasty from many aspects.Through the imagery of duckweed in Tang Dynasty,poets not only showed their perception of the objective world,but also showed their own thoughts and aesthetic psychology.With the continuous enrichment and development,the imagery of duckweed has formed a symbol for literati to express the emotions of wandering,and with the development of literature,the imagery of duckweed has a cultural symbolic significance under the influence of national culture and aesthetic traditions.The first chapter focuses on the enrichment and development of duckweed imagery as the main content.Firstly,it discusses the appearance of duckweed imagery in the poems of the pre-Tang Dynasty and the expression of emotional implication.Judging from the literature currently seen,the imagery of duckweed appeared relatively completely in Wang Bao’s "Nine Huai·Zunjia" in the Han Dynasty,and then the expression of emotional implication in the poetry of the Wei Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties gradually stabilized,and special poems of chanting duckweed appeared.Secondly,from the appearance and development of the imagery of duckweed in the poetry of the early Tang Dynasty,the continuous enrichment of the imagery of duckweed in Tang poetry showed certain development characteristics,which It is mainly manifested in the prominence of natural attributes and literati interest,the rich and diverse ideological and emotional implications,and the deep and full sentiment in the poetry of Yongping.Especially in the expression of emotional connotation,the imagery of duckweed in the poetry of the Tang Dynasty has been extended and expanded greatly on the basis of the poetry of the pre-Tang Dynasty.The second chapter mainly discusses the ideological and emotional implication of the duckweed imagery in the poems of the Tang Dynasty.The poets of the Tang Dynasty used the imagery of duckweed to express the suffering caused by detention,imperial examinations,promotion and relegation,etc.which highlighted the Tang Dynasty poets’ sigh of time and life,their thoughts on official career,and the helplessness of parting their relatives.Not only shows the life situation of the poets in the Tang Dynasty,but also shows their rich emotional world.In addition,the poets of the Tang Dynasty became more sensitive and detailed in their observation and understanding of duckweed.They wrote aquatic duckweed full of life,highlighting the nature and fresh breath of spring and the desolation and desolation of duckweed in autumn,it express desolate and lonely.Poets in the Tang Dynasty also wrote about the feudal relationship between women and men in ancient times in the form of duckweed and water,and it appeared in poems about abandoned wives.At the same time,some poets used this interdependent relationship between men and women to insinuate the subtle relationship between the monarch and the minister.Finally,the poets of the Tang Dynasty also expressed their thoughts and explorations on freedom and noble character with the help of the imagery of duckweed.The third chapter mainly discusses the aesthetic characteristics and cultural symbolic meaning and influence of the duckweed imagery in Tang poetry.In the process of continuous enrichment and development,Tang poetry duckweed formed unique aesthetic characteristics,namely the beauty of vitality and the beauty of sadness.The imagery of duckweed in Tang poetry also formed an emotional symbol that expresses of the lead a wandering life in the process of enrichment and development,and has cultural symbolic meaning in the long river of history and culture,and has an impact on the selection of duckweed imagery and related imagery.
