As the reserve force of international Chinese teachers,the improvement of teaching ability of MTCSOL is of great significance to improve the overall teaching level of international Chinese teachers.The purpose of this study is to investigate the teaching ability of MTCSOL in Xinjiang X University,analyze its existing problems,explore its causes,and put forward the feasible path to improve the teaching ability of MTCSOL.According to the professional characteristics of MTCSOL,referring to relevant research results,and combining with the actual situation of MTCSOL in X University of Xinjiang,constructs the framework of teaching ability of MTCSOL.And on this basis,the design of Chinese international education master ’ s teaching ability questionnaire,curriculum on teaching ability training effect questionnaire,teaching practice on teaching ability training effect questionnaire,classroom observation table and interview outline.By means of questionnaire,classroom observation and in-depth interview,the present situation of teaching ability of MTCSOL is comprehensively investigated.The results show that the professional training effect of MTCSOL’s teaching ability in X University of Xinjiang is mainly : consolidate the knowledge of Chinese teaching;accumulated teaching experience;professional recognition has improved.In addition,there are still some problems in the teaching ability,such as teaching cognitive ability : the grasp of the syllabus is not enough,the understanding of the learners is not comprehensive enough;in terms of teaching design ability : lack of understanding of the forms and causes of learners ’ problems,weak awareness of exploring and utilizing teaching resources,etc.In terms of teaching implementation ability : the way of pre-class introduction and ending classroom teaching is limited,and the grasp of classroom rhythm is still lacking.In terms of teaching management ability : lack of flexible ability to deal with classroom emergencies,lack of initiative to manage classroom space;in terms of teaching evaluation ability : the way to evaluate academic performance is less,and the initiative to evaluate teaching effect is not strong;in terms of teaching reflection ability : the perspective of teaching reflection is limited and the persistence of teaching reflection is poor;in terms of teaching research ability : lack of ability to find research problems,lack of ability to accurately interpret the content of literature.The analysis found that the main causes of the problems in the teaching ability of MTCSOL are : the arrangement of the relevant curriculum content is less,the practice opportunities provided by the specialty are not enough,the curriculum evaluation method is single,the curriculum fails to provide specific feedback,the practice management is loose,and the application and promotion of various skills are not paid enough attention to.Finally,this paper puts forward the corresponding path to improve the teaching ability of MTCSOL.In terms of curriculum setting,the proportion of courses should be reasonably distributed,training content should be set up,various teaching practice activities should be carried out,practice opportunities should be increased,curriculum evaluation methods should be optimized,and specific feedback should be provided;in teaching practice : we should strengthen the construction of regulation management system and increase teaching practice posts;in terms of personal factors,Chinese teaching knowledge should be strengthened,the purpose of education and teaching practice should be clarified,and the direction of career development should be determined.
