Textbook is the carrier of knowledge,and textbook analysis ability is an important part of teachers’ ability.Standards for teachers of Chinese to speakers of other languages clearly propose that International Chinese Teachers should "select,process and utilize textbooks and other teaching resources according to teaching needs",highlighting the importance of "textbook analysis ability" in the development of International Chinese Teachers’ ability.As a reserve force of international Chinese teachers,this ability is related to their career development.Therefore,taking Chinese Comprehensive Course as an example,this paper investigates and studies the teaching material analysis ability of MTCSOL from Lanzhou University.Based on the review of relevant literature,the connotation and structure of comprehensive course teaching material analysis ability are defined from the theoretical level,and the structure of comprehensive course teaching material analysis ability is divided into two levels and twelve dimensions: the macro dimension includes the overall grasp ability,the ability to supplement teaching materials,the ability to integrate materials,the ability to extract important and difficult points,the ability to dig hidden knowledge,and the ability to adapt teaching materials.The micro dimension includes Chinese character analysis ability,word analysis ability,sentence analysis ability,discourse grammar point analysis ability,cultural item analysis ability and exercise analysis ability.Multiple observation points are set under each dimension.Based on the analysis ability structure of comprehensive course teaching materials,questionnaire questions and interview outline are set up,and the following conclusions are drawn from the investigation of MTCSOL.1.MTCSOL have a high overall cognition of comprehensive course textbook analysis,but have a shallow understanding of the connotation,structure,process,and other elements of comprehensive course textbook analysis.2.They do not pay attention to the integrity of the comprehensive course teaching materials.Some students only use part of the teaching materials,and some students have no teaching materials.3.The material integration ability at the macro level is the weakest;The ability to extract key and difficult points and the ability to supplement teaching materials were good.4.At the micro level,the sentence analysis ability and discourse grammar point analysis ability are weak;Chinese character analysis ability,word analysis ability is relatively good.5.Some students lack the consciousness of independent analysis and completely copy the teaching materials or teaching plan resources.According to the results of investigation and interview,this paper discusses the factors that influence the analysis ability of comprehensive course teaching materials from subjective and objective aspects,then discusses the enlightenment from the two perspectives of the College cultivator and MTCSOL.Finally,taking Boya Chinese · Intermediate 2,a highly representative comprehensive course textbook,as an example,systematic demonstration analysis is carried out according to the constructed comprehensive course textbook analysis ability framework,and practical operation cases are provided for the theoretical dimension of the comprehensive course textbook analysis constructed in this paper.
