Study On Word Formation Of Qin’an Dialect

Qin’an dialect,as one of the sub-dialects of Gansu dialect,is mostly only briefly mentioned in the comparison or division of Gansu dialects,and the existing research results mostly focus on pronunciation,while the research on vocabulary is mostly limited to the collection of words,without analyzing it from the perspective of word formation.Based on this,this paper takes the Qin’an dialect as the research object and adopts research methods such as literature method,field survey method,descriptive analysis method,and comparative method.Starting from the four major aspects of phonetics,structure,form,and rhetoric,a comprehensive and detailed description and analysis of the word formation of Qin’an dialect,in order to reveal the uniqueness of Qin’an dialect’s word formation,enrich the lexical system of Qin’an dialect,and provide corpus and language fact support for the in-depth study of Qin’an dialect.The main contents of the paper include:The introduction part mainly introduces the geography,history,humanities and dialects of Qin’an,and elaborates the research significance,research methods and corpus sources of this article on the basis of combing the existing research results.The first chapter is about word formation of Qin’an dialect by phonetic means,which mainly analyzes the word formation of Qin’an dialect from three aspects:onomatopoeia,phonetic change and repetition.Among them,according to the foundation of word formation and phonetic structure,the onomatopoeic word formation is divided into four types: one-character,two-character,three-character,and four-character;The word formation of phonetic variants is mainly divided into two types: synphonic and literary and colloquial pronunciations;Repetitive word formation is mainly "AA" 。The second chapter is about the word formation of Qin’an dialect by compound means.It mainly analyzes the word formation of Qin’an dialect from five aspects:subject-predicate,verb-object,partial formal,joint and supplementary.The third chapter is the word formation of Qin’an dialect by means of morphology,which mainly analyzes the word formation of Qin’an dialect from two aspects: overlapping word formation and additional word formation.Among them,overlapping word formation mainly includes double syllable overlapping and multi-syllable overlapping;Additional word formation includes three types: prefix,infix and suffix.The fourth chapter is about the rhetorical means of word formation in Qin’an dialect,which mainly analyzes the rhetorical means of word formation in Qin’an dialect from three aspects: figurative word formation,borrowed word formation,and euphemistic word formation.Among them,figurative word formation includes three types: pre-figurative,post-figurative and universal;Borrowing word formation includes two types: borrowing type and opposite type;Euphemistic word formation includes two types: word formation for avoiding taboos and vulgarity,and word formation for showing respect.The concluding part summarizes the word formation methods of Qin’an dialect,the comparison between Qin’an dialect’s word formation and Mandarin,and the characteristics of Qin’an dialect’s word formation.
