| As an important carrier of condensing national characteristics,traditional culture is of great significance in today’s era of emphasizing national uniqueness.More and more artists are looking for the basis of creation in traditional culture,with the intention of making traditional culture more advanced with the times,using some modern new forms and new means to redesign the artistic expression of traditional culture,which is conducive to rejuvenating the ancient traditional culture.Traditional patterns are one of the external manifestations of traditional culture,and it is not uncommon to be redesigned and decorated in various material art,and the original patterns have been re-given new meaning and aesthetics.Ceramic decoration is an important part of ceramic art,in which animal motifs are a large number of species in ceramic decoration.As early as the primitive social period,the totems of animal figures were decorated on pottery.With the passage of time,a variety of animal pattern decorations in the development of successive dynasties has been constantly redesigned,in such a realistic law to analyze the design methods in line with the current,with the design of the current era of the expression of the time,is the key to make the traditional animal patterns apply to the present.Animation,as a common medium of current artistic creation,grew up with the Chinese youth generation as early as the last century,borrowing the language of animation art to explore how to rearrange traditional animal patterns on the utensils with new structure and order,thus generating a new aesthetic dimension,which has become the content of my practice.This project selects the decorative patterns of the three typical shapes of the Ming Dynasty Chenghua Doucai Sea Beast Tianzi Pot,the Chenghua Doucai Chicken Bowl Cup,and the Chenghua Doucai Flower and Bird Goblet as the practice motif,and uses the method of pattern re-design to analyze traditional ceramics... |
