Study On Wuxi Government Promoting The Integration Of Culture And Tourism By Using Regional Culture

Today,with the continuous development of economic,tourism plays an increasingly important role.With the concept of global tourism put forward,the integration of cultural and tourism has attracted more and more attention from the government and people.In 2014,the General Office of Chongqing Municipal Government issued Opinions on Promoting the Integration of Culture and Tourism,which made it clear that promoting the integration of culture and tourism is an important deployment of the Central Committee and the Municipal Committee,and an important measure to broaden the tourism development space.This paper takes Witchery culture and the development of Ningchang ancient town as the research object,and adopts the following three research methods:Firstly,it is the comprehensive analysis of literature methods.From HowNet,Wanfang Database,Wuxi Tourism Bureau,Wuxi Cultural Committee and other relevant departments borrowed a large number of documents and materials on Wuxi culture,ancient town development and integration of culture and tourism;Secondly,visits and research methods.Visits and investigations were made to the heads of relevant 12 departments such as the Culture Commission and Construction Commission.Thirdly,questionnaire survey methods.In order to understand the relevant information of tourists and their opinions and suggestions of Ningchang Ancient Town,318 questionnaires were designed by myself and distributed randomly in Ningchang Ancient Town and other important scenic spots,collected 305 copies.Through the above research methods,it is found that there are three problems in Wuxi government’s use of regional culture to promote the development of cultural and tourism integration:Firstly,the lack of effective means in the excavation and protection of culture;Secondly,the lack of effective institutions,high-level planning and powerful owners in the development process of Ningchang ancient town;Thirdly,the lack of innovation and strength in the integration of Witchery culture and Ningchang ancient town.The reasons are as follows:Firstly,the overall layout of the Wuxi’s culture and tourism is quite different;Secondly,the Wuxi’s cultural tourism system and mechanism is not sound;Thirdly,lack of investment in culture and tourism.To solve the existing problems,Firstly,we should straighten out the system and mechanism for developing cultural and tourism;Secondly,we should strengthen the integration of culture and utilization;Thirdly,we should take concrete measures in planning,publicity and marketing;Fourth,we should increase the investment and financing of cultural tourism.The problems and countermeasures put forward in this paper can provide some decision-making references for Wuxi or similar local governments to promote the integration of cultural tourism,so as to promote the integration and development of the local cultural tourism industry,enhance the local economy,and promote poverty alleviation.
