Research On The Problems And Countermeasures For Cultural Tourism In Ancient Towns Of Ethnic Regions

In recent years,ancient towns have been deeply favored by tourists with their unique humanistic and cultural tourism resources and authentic local customs and practices.However,since ethnic regions are mostly situated in underdeveloped regions in economy and society,they are relatively backward in economic and social development,transportation environment,infrastructure,and ideological awareness.However,this is just like a blessing in disguise because they have obtained such“treasures” as high-quality ecological environment,rich natural resources,unique ethnic culture,and authentic local customs and practices.Therefore,how to fully tap,develop and protect these “treasures” and improve the industrial transformation capacity of these resources and capital proliferation capacity are of great significance for cultivating regional economic growth poles,radiating and driving the economic and social development of ethnic regions,and realizing “thriving industries,ecological beauty,and rich people”.As for how to convert the natural resources and humanistic resources of ancient towns into economic advantages of sustainable development,a lot of studies have been done in the domestic academic community,but there are not many research findings on ancient towns in the special ethic regions.Hence,this thesis tries to explore the development of ancient towns in ethnic regions through the development of cultural tourism industry.This thesis takes ancient towns in ethnic regions as the research objects and Phoenix ancient town and Zhuoshui ancient town as the samples for comparison and analysis.The research aims to take the cultivation of regional economic growth pole as the research perspective,adopts such research methods as literature review,field survey,comparative analysis and PEST analysis,and tries to provide references for the development of cultural tourism in ancient towns of ethnic regions.This thesis believes that cultural tourism should be the growth pole for the economic development of ancient towns in ethnic regions,playing an important role in driving the economy,society,culture,and ecology.Ethnic culture should run through the whole process of its cultural tourism industry.Driven by the needs of tourists,cultural tourism development industry shall always adhere to the concept that “content is the king and driven by creativity”,focus on and stress the negative impact of cultural tourism development on resource and environment,ecological environment,and ethnic culture,and perfect the development pattern of “government leadership,department collaboration,enterprise entity,industry self-discipline,and social participation”.
