A Practice Report On The English Translation Of "the Introduction And Application Of Quantum Computing In The Field Of Aerodynamics"

With the increasingly close international academic exchanges and cooperation,there is a growing realization that professional scientific and technological articles need to be brought into the international academia.For a long time,most domestic scientific and technological documents have been affected by the substandard English translations,which in turn affected its international acceptance.This shows that the level of English translation of scientific papers needs to be continuously improved.The author hopes to take this report to deepen the understanding of scientific translation practice.This translation practice report selected the article “The Introduction and Application of Quantum Computing in Aerodynamics” in the core journal “Acta Aeronautica et Astronautica Sinica” as the source text.This paper mainly describes the continuous development of quantum algorithm,and expounds the related concepts of quantum computing.The application prospect of quantum computing in aerodynamics is predicted.The application prospects in aerodynamics are high in science and technology.In view of the huge development potential of quantum computing and the impact of aerodynamics research on the development of aviation,it has considerable translation value.This translation practice report consists of four chapters.The first chapter briefly introduces the background and language features of the source text;The second chapter aims to introduce the theories used in this translation practice and briefly describe the translation process;The third chapter,as the main part of this paper,analyzes translation cases at lexical and syntactic levels by applying Newmark’ s text typology theory.The accuracy of vocabulary translation and the equivalence of syntactic content and structure provide a better guidance for translation practice.The four chapter mainly describes the difficulties encountered in translation practice and reflect on the deficiencies.This report uses methods such as composing translation and word order adjustment to express the information of source text with more accurate translations.Through translation case analysis,it proves that the text typology theory has guiding significance for translating scientific and technological texts.The author hopes that this translation practice report can help translators have a better understanding of this field.It is expected to be conducive to the international exchange and study of scientific and technological academic achievements,and also provides reference and research materials for scientific and technological translation.
