| In translation practice,Charismas in Conflict: Richard II and Henry Bolingbroke written by British author Raphael Falco in Exemplaria in 1999 was selected as the translation text.This paper mainly focuses on the concept of charisma and charisma in conflict through the comparative analysis of Richard II and Henry Bolingbroke.In translation practice,the translator finds that the linguistic features of this paper are as follows: the content is true and precise and the information is large.Therefore,translator chooses Reiss’ s theory of text typology to guide the translation of literary criticism.The report begins with an introduction to the translation task,which mainly includes the background of the translation material,the textual and linguistic features of the translated material and significance of the report.Secondly,preparatory work for translation is introduced,including list of proper nouns and reserve of background knowledge,as well as planning of formal translation and revision of translation.Then,based on theory of text typology,the difficulties encountered in translation process analyzed and some translation methods,such as conversion,adjustment of sentence order and changes between passive and active voice introduced.In the end,translator reviewed and reflected the translation practice.By translating Charismas in Conflict: Richard II and Henry Bolingbroke,the translator explores translation methods from the perspective of text typology theory in order to provide some references for relevant translation studies and translators. |
