Music education is an important part of children’s learning,promoting children’s all-round development in many ways.The professional knowledge and skills of kindergarten teachers come from the music courses they study in school;therefore,the setting of music courses in preschool education major of secondary vocational colleges directly affects the actual situation of children’s music education in the actual work post after students’ employment;how to carry out music education around the service post is an important problem to be solved in preschool education major of secondary vocational colleges.Based on the perspective of employment quality survey,this paper takes the representative secondary vocational colleges in Urumqi as an example to investigate the employment quality of preschool education graduates in secondary vocational colleges.Through the feedback of the actual music teaching work of kindergarten teachers,this paper evaluates the opening of music courses in preschool education in Secondary Vocational Colleges,combined with the music courses of preschool education in Secondary Vocational Colleges in Urumqi This paper summarizes the current situation of the music curriculum of preschool education major in Secondary Vocational Colleges in Urumqi,and puts forward some effective suggestions on the music curriculum,so as to guide the practice of the music curriculum of preschool education major in secondary vocational colleges.This paper is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction;The second part is about the importance of music course in preschool education major.It elaborates from two aspects: it helps to cultivate the professional quality and professional skills of preschool education major students in secondary vocational colleges and it helps to serve the employment needs of preschool education major graduates in secondary vocational colleges;The third part is the investigation and analysis of the employment quality of preschool education graduates in Secondary Vocational Colleges in Urumqi,including the investigation,statistics and analysis of in-service kindergarten teachers’ acceptance of music education,music teaching skills,mastery of music teaching methods and other aspects;The fourth part is the investigation and analysis of the current situation of music curriculum in preschool education of secondary vocational colleges in Urumqi,including the investigation,statistics and analysis of music curriculum,music literacy training,and the use of music teaching materials;The fifth part is the analysis of the problems existing in the music curriculum of pre-school education in Urumqi Secondary Vocational Colleges under the guidance of employment quality,including skills,theory,teaching methods,practice,the use of teaching materials and the gap between the music curriculum content and the actual employment literacy;The sixth part is the thinking of music curriculum setting of preschool education major in Urumqi Secondary Vocational Colleges under the guidance of employment quality,and discusses the optimization strategies according to the problems analyzed in the fifth part.
