On The Creation Of Oral Historical Documentary

The progress of scientific and technological means,the development of mass media,the change of modern social environment and the high integration of various disciplines have put forward higher requirements for documentary creation and brought opportunities at the same time.In the process of artistic creation,dissemination and acceptance,artistic art forms and cultural groups of science and technology type,media type and mass participation type have gradually emerged,civilian,diversified and socialized documentaries have become more and more popular.Documentary,as a product of the combination of modern science and technology and art,is an art that uses pictures and sounds as the medium to create perceptual and intuitive images on the screen and reproduce and express life.Oral narration is used in documentary as a creative technique make up for the lack of documentary.With the development of the concept of "oral history" in the field of historiography,it has been widely spread and mingled with different subjects,thus oral history documentary came into being.Oral writing is used in documentaries in the form of a creative technique,by which oral history maximizes the power of oral narration,and with the restoration instinct of images,it creates social value and aesthetic significance beyond the narrative content,enhances the impact of documentaries and enhances the audience’s appreciation ability.Taking several typical oral history documentaries as research cases,this paper analyzes the creative characteristics and ideas of oral history documentaries,and summarizes the creative techniques of oral history documentaries,which has certain theoretical reference value and practical significance for the creation of such documentaries.Among them,the first chapter starts with the relevant theories of oral history documentary,this paper summarizes the definition of oral history documentary,clarifies the scope of the research object,and grasps the creation rules from its development process.In the second chapter,through the analysis of literature analysis and case study,three characteristics of oral history documentary are obtained: audio visual language to restore history,multiple emotions to build history,contemporary consciousness to examine history.The third chapter combines oral history theory with documentary creation,and concludes three creative ideas of oral historical documentary: the principle of asymptote,the principle of historical materialism,and the rule of ethics,which lay a theoretical foundation for the creation of documentary.The fourth chapter,based on the film Tomb of the Unknown and representative oral history documentary and television works,this paper discusses the film and television expression of oral history documentary,and summarizes the feasible path of theme selection,oral documentary,narrative language,picture language and later creation,which perfectly combine the film and television techniques of oral history documentary with historical methods.The fifth chapter,summarize the research content and creative process,and make a prospect for the future application of oral history documentary in many fields.
