In teaching Chinese as a foreign language,newspaper reading is an important way for Chinese learners to read Chinese newspapers and understand Chinese culture.Through literature reading and questionnaire survey of Chinese learners,we can know that newspaper reading class has always been "difficult to teach" and "difficult to learn".At present,Chinese teaching is difficult due to the impact of the epidemic,so is newspaper reading teaching.But at the same time,the development of new media has also brought about the reform of education and teaching.The continuous development of the Internet has brought new opportunities to the reform and development of education.By bringing new media into the teaching of Chinese newspaper reading as a foreign language,we can improve the practical experience of teachers and students in the teaching process,so as to cope with the opportunities and challenges brought by the new media era.In this paper,from this point of view,using the combination of theory and practice,through the summary of previous studies and questionnaire to understand the current situation of newspaper reading teaching under the background of new media,analyze the reasons,and put forward the corresponding teaching strategies for the current problems,combined with teaching strategies to complete the teaching design.I hope that through this paper to explore the ideas of teachers’ teaching,improve learners’ newspaper reading ability,help Chinese learners to better improve their information retrieval ability by consulting Chinese newspapers,and have a more comprehensive understanding of China.At the same time,it can also provide some reference for the future teaching and research of Chinese as a foreign language teachers.This paper can be divided into six parts.The first part is the reason and significance of the topic and the research status of Chinese newspaper reading.The second part of the definition of new media to make a brief exposition of the impact of new media on teaching.The third part briefly expounds the nature of Chinese newspaper reading teaching,analyzes the current situation of newspaper reading teaching,and finds out the main problems.The fourth part puts forward the teaching strategy.The fifth part according to the previous analysis and summary,carries on the corresponding case design.Finally,the sixth part is the conclusion,which is the summary of the full text about the new media Chinese newspaper reading teaching,the shortcomings of this study and the future expectations.
