| Under the background of the friendly cooperation between China and Vietnam,the popularity of Chinese in Vietnam is increasing.As of 2019,29 universities in Vietnam have established Chinese majors and Vietnam has also used Chinese as the national language in the history.In the studying process of Vietnamese students,for the sake of speed,many students only focus on the two aspects of listening and speaking,so they will ignore the aspect of Chinese characters.However,the writing of Chinese characters has an important role in studying Chinese.In order to improve this aspect,we need to understand how Vietnamese students study Chinese character writing;especially,common mistakes in writing Chinese characters and effective methods for teaching and learning Chinese characters.It is what we need to analyze in the research.This paper comprehensively uses the literature research method,the data collection method and the questionnaire survey method.In order to improve the objectivity of the thesis,a questionnaire was developed,and the detailed survey results are shown in the article.The research on writing Chinese characters in Vietnam limits,so based on the former research,the questionnaire consists of three parts: 1.Survey of students ’personal information,2.Students’ abilities to writing Chinese characters,3.Measures for students to practice writing Chinese characters.Through detailed analysis on the questionnaire,this article points out that the common types and reasons of students’ mistakes in writing Chinese characters are both internal reasons such as students themselves in studying Chinese and external reasons such as the failure of teaching Chinese character in Vietnam.So this article starts with the following four aspects in order to provide some help for Vietnamese Chinese learners:(1)The current status of Chinese characters writing teaching in Vietnam;(2)Common mistakes in writing Chinese characters by Vietnamese students;(3)Obstacles to Chinese characters learning for Vietnamese students;(4)Strategies of Chinese characters learning and teaching.Through the analysis and research on the above four major parts,finding the reasons why Vietnamese students are difficult about learning Chinese character and helping them reduce the occurrence of typos,and also proposing solutions in teaching and learning Chinese characters.It is hoped that this paper can bring Vietnamese students’ interest and self-confidence in the study of Chinese characters and improve the writing level of Chinese characters.These are the main meanings of this paper.Finally,pointing out limitations and problems of this study. |
