| In the trend of globalization, along with the rapid pace of economic development ofChina and Vietnam, there are more and more Chinese companies and other companiesusing Mandarin as the main language came to Vietnam for investment. Therefore, theneed of mandarin-speaking labors has been increasing continuously, mandarin feverwas also appeared in Vietnam. China and Vietnam are linked geographically neighbor,Vietnamese start learning Chinese characters can be tracked back to thousand years ago,from the North Vietnam period to autonomous feudal period, Chinese characters hasbeen the official administration language, there are a lot of Vietnamese considerChinese characters as the word of sages or confucianism word. But in the1945, afterthe founding of the Vietnam People’s Democratic Republic, at that time, the interimgovernment decided to use “alphabeticalâ€, Chinese characters in Vietnamese lifedebilitating. For the modern Vietnamese who learn Chinese, Chinese character has beena stumbling block in learning Chinese, in order to learn quickly, a lot of people onlylearn listening and speaking. But do not break through the difficulties of Chinesecharacter, will never learn the key point of Chinese language. Therefore, we explore thecharacteristic of Vietnamese students study Chinese character, for example: the error ofwriting Chinese characters, the characteristic of learning, effectively improve thestudents in learning Mandarin and the quality of the teachers is waiting to dig in.This thesis based on previous studies, aiming at the characteristic in the educationof Chinese character for Vietnam university students and Vietnamese students, we usedquestioner, study and collect the error in writing Chinese character of Vietnamesestudents. Meanwhile, survey the students commonly used strategy in learning Chinesecharacter, trying to study the method that they often use in learn and practice writing Chinese character, and learning the characteristic of the students in study Chinesecharacter. On the other hand, this paper, preliminary study the education condition inthe high education institute which had opened the Chinese major, analyze the Chinesecharacter class in the university in Vietnam. From the investigation and analysis, wefound the following results:1. In Vietnam there are37colleges and universities opened Chinese language major,but only7school among the school which opened Chinese character class,specifically including: University of Languages and International Studies, VNu(belongs Ha Noi National University), National University of Da Nang belongsUniversity of Foreign Languages (belongs Da Nang University), Ha Noi University,Ho Chi Minh University of Social Sciences and Humanities (belongs Ho Chi MinhNational University), Eastern University, Hung Vuong University.2. Collect1646typos, divided it into5kind of bias:1.Strokes bias,2.Parts bias,3.Structural bias,4. Whole character bias,5.Other bias. In the1646typos: misprint783character (47.56%), typos character (52.43%). From the percentage by kind of bias,in descending order:1. Whole character bias (36.21%),2. Strokes bias (31.11%),3.Structural bias (16.22%),4. Parts bias (11.85%), and other bias (4.2%).3. Found several bias in student’s writing Chinese characters, for example: Adownwardtrend in percentage of bias strokes. The most common form of bias in beginner level,take40.73%of the whole level bias, in elementary level and advance level, thepercentage gradually decreased to32.73%and27.02%. Furthermore, this thesisanalyzed3aspects of Vietnam students in study Chinese characters:1. Strategy ofpractice in writing Chinese characters,2. Students often wrong or confusing parts inwriting,3. Negative influence from mother tongue. This parts is provides referencesfor Vietnam Chinese language teaching and research scholars.In early October2012, we distributed questionnaires; after collecting student errorin writing Chinese characters, classification and analyzed, and finally start writing thepaper. |
