Although Chinese teaching in Jordan started ten years ago,it is still preliminary,especially Jordan’s lack of basic factors for Chinese teaching,such as Chinese textbooks suitable for the region.The University of Jordan is the first school in the country to teach Chinese.Today,the New Practical Chinese Textbook is still in use.There are many problems with the textbook itself,plus the contradiction between the textbook and the needs of Jordanian students.The problem is that the teachers of the University of Jordan and other Jordanian schools that teach Chinese have expressed their dependence on the textbook of the New Practical Chinese Textbook.In recent years,the compilation of localized or nationalized textbooks has become one of the most popular topics in the study of Chinese as a foreign language.At the same time,I have found that there is no localized Chinese textbook for the Arab region.Therefore,the author decided to study the local culture and Jordan The characteristics of Chinese learners and the characteristics of localized Chinese textbooks for the region.Based on my own experience and first-hand materials collected through questionnaires and interviews,the author provides some parts of the New Practical Chinese Textbook.Examples of improving the needs of Jordanian Chinese learners,and localized Chinese textbooks for Jordanian Chinese learners.In order to complete the work requirements of this thesis and provide first-hand materials,the author has used: questionnaires,interviews and literature research methods,mainly to study the characteristics of Jordanian Chinese learners,the demand for learning Chinese,and learning methods Wait for local information about Jordanian culture and society to facilitate the preparation of localized Chinese textbooks for Jordan.At the same time,the author has studied the Chinese textbook "New Practical Chinese Textbook" currently used by other Jordanian Chinese schools such as the University of Jordan,and studied the improvements that can be made to make it more practical in Jordan. |
