Chinese is currently one of the five most widely spoken and used languages in the world with the largest number of users. Many countries and regions have begun to learn Chinese, such as the United States,Australia,Canada,Japan, and South Korea. Now,many learners begin to learning Chinese as a second language, which is an important sign that Chinese is improving its international status.Vietnam is a developing country. With the development of the world economy, more and more Vietnamese are learning Chinese for different purposes. It can be said that,in Vietnam, the number of people learning Chinese is second only to learning English. The four aspects of Chinese include: phonetics, vocabulary, grammar and writing.Among them, pronunciation is the basic material shell and expression of Chinese, and phonetic obstacles are also the first barrier to learning Chinese.Because Chinese is not the native language of Vietnamese,it is an inevitable phenomenon for Vietnamese people to encounter pronunciation problems while learning Chinese.Vietnam is divided into three parts: northern, central, and southern parts, and the voice characteristics of each place are different. As a student studying Chinese in southern Vietnam,I found that I and my friends encountered some of the same phonetic problems in the process of learning Chinese.I wanted to resolve these phonetic errors,so I began to consult a lot of literature.During the query,I found that there was very little research on students in southern Vietnam. Therefore,I decided to conduct " A Study on Student’s Common Errors in Learning Chinese Phonetics in The Southern of Vietnam and The Correction Methods",hoping to make up for the lack of research on Vietnamese students’ errors in learning Chinese phonetics. This research is divided into six chapters: The first chapter is an introduction, which briefly introduces the purpose and significance of the topic selection, the research status, research methods, definition of core concepts and theoretical basis. The second chapter is the phonetic comparison between Mandarin in Southern Vietnam and Mandarin Chinese. In this chapter,we compare the initials, finals, and tones of the Vietnamese-Chinese Mandarin. Therefore, find out the common and different points of the two languages. The third chapter is the core content of this thesis. It writes the common mistakes made by students in southern Vietnam in learning Chinese phonetics. This chapter also analyzes the consonants, finals, and tones. The fourth chapter is the cause of Chinese phonetic errors of students in southern Vietnam. This chapter also researches three aspects of phonetics. The fifth chapter is about correcting errors and teaching countermeasures. This chapter is also an important part of the thesis.Chapter 6 is the conclusion. |
