The Inspiration Of Euan Uglow’s Painting Form To The Creation Of "Tianyi Series"

Euan Uglow is one of the most remarkable artists of the 20 th in the United Kingdom and shined like a resplendent diamond in the history of art around the world.His painting style moves between classicism and modernism.His works are ingenious in conception and solitude,which endows the viewer with a kind of aesthetic artistic conception.To sum up,the depth and influence of Uglow’s works are what we aim to explore by studying the formal language of the work.It includes four chapters in this paper,among which the form of Uglow’s painting and the birth of the “Tianyi series” are the key points of this article.In the first place,we present the beginning,object and significance of the subject,meanwhile,we describe the current research situation,ideas and methods at home and abroad.Additionally,the second part represents the historic background and individual development.Furthermore,the third chapter analyzes the formal language of Uglow’s paintings.At the end of this paper,we discuss the influence of the formal language on author’s creation of “Leisure series”.This study not only analyzes Uglow’s painting form,but also inherits and innovates the excellent culture,strives to explore the individual artistic style in the artistic creation.
