Study On The Application Of Euan Uglow’s Simple Style In The Series Of Qingdao City Landscape

Euan Uglow(Euan Uglow 1932-2000)is a famous British painter in the 20 th century.The painting works are rational and rigorous,concise and general in shape,rich in geometric abstract aesthetic sense of interest,simple and subtle changes in color,giving people a simple and solemn aesthetic sense of art,unique painting language,strong artistic style.On the basis of studying the painting style of Euan Uglow,this paper focuses on the application of this artistic style in the individual Qingdao city landscape series oil painting creation based on the regional characteristics of Qingdao city humanistic natural landscape.The article is divided into four chapters,the first chapter introduces the research background,purpose and significance of this paper,as well as the current research situation at home and abroad,the research methods and innovations of this paper;The second chapter discusses the Eunegro’s life and simple painting style;The third chapter expounds the inspiration and application of Euan Uglow’s simple painting style to my Qingdao city landscape oil painting series.As the focus of this paper,the author discusses the application of simple painting style in personal creation in five aspects: the summary extraction of natural objects,the geometric shaping of artistic modeling,the simplicity and refinement of the form,the solemn tranquility of color processing and the induction and treatment of block strokes.Finally,it reviews the harvest and reflection in the process of creation.Through the language analysis and thinking of the minimalist style and the creation and excavation of the regional humanistic landscape in Qingdao,we can provide more broad information and perspective for other contemporary art creators in order to better complete the future artistic creation.
