With the rapid development of information technology,the traditional teaching method can’t meet the requirements of the present society for talents.The combination of deep learning and discipline teaching has attracted more and more attention of educational researchers.For the high-level students in elementary school in the basic education stage,the listening and speaking skills in English learning play a crucial part in their language acquisition and application.In the compulsory education English Curriculum Standard(2011 Edition),it emphasizes the students as the main body,emphasizes the practical application of language;on the basis of forming the preliminary comprehensive language application ability,it promotes the development of students’ mind and thinking,develops their independent learning ability and improves their comprehensive humanities quality.This is consistent with the nature and characteristics of deep learning.However,in the current primary school English teaching,the requirements of curriculum standard have not been well reflected.Teachers pay more attention to the improvement of performance and easily ignore the listening and speaking teaching part,which leads to the overall students’ English learning in a shallow learning state.Therefore,this study puts forward the following three main research questions: 1)what is the deep learning status of primary school students in English listening and speaking learning? 2)In order to further promote students’ deep learning,what kind of teaching mode should teachers adopt? 3)When the established teaching mode is applied to primary school English classroom,can it really promote students’ deep learning?Firstly,based on deep learning theory,second language acquisition theory and constructivism theory,and combing the relevant literature of deep learning and combining with the actual situation of the classroom,this study designs deep learning tone from five dimensions: learning attitude and motivation,connection and integration of knowledge,transfer and application of knowledge,problem-solving ability and knowledge construction and reflection.And this paper investigates the current situation of students’ deep learning in English listening and speaking class by means of questionnaire.The results show that although the current English listening and speaking teaching has a certain improvement compared with the previous cramming teaching,there is still a certain gap with the requirements of deep learning.Students’ ability in the connection and integration of knowledge,transfer and application,construction and reflection is still relatively weak.Secondly,according to the relevant theory and research of deep learning,the route of deep learning abroad,the cognitive process of S-ACIG deep learning,the investigation results of the current situation of deep learning of primary school English listening and speaking course,the training objectives of primary school English listening and speaking course and the actual situation of English classroom teaching,this study constructs a deep learning model of primary school English listening and speaking which can be implemented in the information technology environment.It consists of six parts: teaching preparation,creating situation,activating prophet,acquiring new knowledge,deep processing of knowledge,teaching evaluation and reflection.Finally,three rounds of action research are carried out in the experimental class.After practice,the results are analyzed from four aspects: Students’ learning effect,students’ deep learning characteristics before and after comparison,classroom observation and teacher-student interviews,so as to test the effectiveness of the model.The results show that the teaching mode of deep learning of English listening and speaking in primary schools can significantly improve the performance of students’ deep learning characteristics,especially in the transfer and application of knowledge,as well as the construction and reflection of knowledge.Moreover,the mode can also effectively improve students’ learning effect;students’ classroom enthusiasm,listening and speaking skills and language expression ability have also been significantly improved,and teachers and students have given a positive attitude to the mode.In addition,in order to further improve the effect of in-depth learning in English listening and speaking class,the author finally puts forward some suggestions based on the research results.Teachers should make clear the teaching objectives to students,highlight the dominant position of students in the teaching process,pay attention to the development of deepening activities after listening,and help students form the habit of summarizing and reflecting after class,so that students can really learn how to learn. |
