Fu mountain is located in this zongyang county,covers an area of 19.1 square kilometers.Hundreds of stone carvings have been preserved on the mountain.Most of these stone carvings are poems of literati and monks,and some are left by monks in temples.At present,the earliest stone carvings of Fu mountain can be traced back to the Tang Dynasty,and the most stone carvings are from the Song,Yuan and Ming Dynasties to the early Republic of China.Since the Southern Song Dynasty,a large number of literati have come to Fu mountain and left stone carvings.Most of these stone carvings describe a certain day in a certain year,the inscribed people and friends to visit the Fu Shan,or inspired,leaving praise of Fu Shan scenery and poem inscriptions.From these stone carvings,we can see the communication of the local literati at that time.Fu mountain stone carvings reflect the communication of literati is a unique culture spread among literati.Although there were stone carvings in the Tang Dynasty,the number of stone carvings that remained was small and most of them were weathered,so it was difficult to see much information.But since the Southern Song Dynasty,many scholars came to visit the mountain and left stone carvings.These stone carvings are mostly distributed around the temple,and there are few stone carvings found in places without temples.These literati did not necessarily travel to other areas,but all chose to leave stone carvings near the temple.As a stronghold of Buddhist culture,the temple also provides convenience for the literati to visit.These literati in Fu mountain tour,with the help of the temple,the stone carving left,easier to let the later literati found.This formed a tacit understanding between the literati unique communication.The study of stone carvings in the Ming and Qing Dynasties in Fu mountain is more about the excavation of local history and culture,and the understanding of the history dominated by scholars in this place during this historical period.And by the communication of these literati,the scope of the study can be expanded to other regions.Some evidence can be found from the history of other regions,so as to build a communication network of literati.For the stone carvings left by the same person in different places,through the analysis of their time and place,we can also analyze the personal life track under the big historical background,as well as the change of the time background.The Ming and Qing Dynasties were the period when Tongcheng School gradually developed and even reached its peak.During this period,stone carvings on Fu mountain Mountain were also more developed than those of the previous dynasties.The study of stone carvings in Ming and Qing Dynasties may provide a new perspective for the study of Tongcheng regional culture.The Fu mountain stone carvings,as a special place for the communication between scholars in Tongcheng during the Ming and Qing Dynasties,not only focus on the stone carvings of one or two celebrities.In addition to the literati groups,the stone carvings in Fu mountain also come from monks and gentry,etc.These groups overlap with the literati to a certain extent,but there are some differences.In recent years,the destruction of Fu mountain stone carvings still did not stop,to remove natural causes such as weathering,and man-made destruction.For the investigation and sorting of the existing part of Fu mountain stone carvings,we hope to draw attention to the protection and recording of the stone carvings that will be damaged,to prevent the modern human damage,to restore the original appearance and protection of the damage caused by painting or other human activities as far as possible,and to preserve the stone carvings and their information as far as possible. |
