Under the background of the country’s implementation of the major strategy of rural reform and revitalization,the country has set off an upsurge of tourism development in ancient towns.This craze has gradually made tourism in ancient towns a hot topic in the domestic tourism industry.However,most ancient towns in China have tended to one side.This is due to the lack of protection and development of ancient towns.In today’s branding era,brands have become a part of consumers’ daily lives that cannot be ignored and even valued.For tourist destinations,the establishment of tourism brands can attract more tourists,enhance the value and popularity of tourist destinations,and respond to fierce market competition.The output of tourism brand is presented by its visual image.Therefore,effectively integrating the brand concept into the ancient town tourism,using the ancient town brand to drive the development of the ancient town tourism,and showing the history and charm of an ancient town with the ancient town brand image has become an important way for the development of the ancient town to keep pace with the times.This article first summarizes the related theories of ancient town tourism brand and visual image design;secondly,through the analysis and interpretation of brand visual image cases of existing ancient towns or characteristic towns at home and abroad,it explores the necessity of the visual image design of ancient town tourism brand Finally,based on the theoretical basis,the visual image design of the tourist brand of the ancient town of Rao Zhou in Jiangxi Province is used as a specific case to design and explore,explore the local characteristics and cultural elements of the ancient town,and clarify the development positioning of the ancient town brand.The visual image of the tourism brand of ancient towns in Rao Zhou is designed from basic to application systematization,looking for breakthroughs and innovations in the construction of the ancient town’s brand image.In the design process,it is required to integrate the rich regional culture of the ancient town into the visual visual image,fully enhance the brand value of the ancient town,and provide new ideas for the research on the visual image design of tourism brand and the visual image design of the ancient tourist town from the perspective of branding.Methods and recommendations.
