In the long Chinese history,traditional decorative patterns are a kind of rich art heritage.Introducing the traditional decorative patterns into art education based on cultural heritages for college students can improve their aesthetic ability,artistic accomplishment and cultural identification.As one of advanced information technology,application of mixed reality technology will promote the education communication.Game-based learning can improve not only learning effect but also learning experience and motivation.In this study,the game-based learning in MR environment was applied to the education communication of traditional decorative patterns,aiming to improve the learning effect and experience of college students on the art and cultural content of traditional decorative patterns,thus ultimately improve the effect of cultural communication and promote the development of art education in university.Firstly,this study analyzed the advantages and limitations of the common education communication modes of traditional decorative patterns,combined with the design methods of cultural heritage education games and MR technical characteristics,constructed the education games centered education communication of MR gamification,put forward the design objectives of the traditional decorative patterns MR education games,combed the core elements of the traditional decorative patterns MR education games,and selected the appropriate mode the design principles used in this study.On this basis,taking the decorative patterns of Han-Dynasty bronze mirrors as an example,this thesis put forward a specific design framework,and expounded how to build an MR education game of decorative patterns of Han-Dynasty bronze mirrors for college students from three aspects: the analysis and selection of the characteristics of game types,the design and construction of game tasks,and the optimization of game interaction and experience.Secondly,the Han-Dynasty bronze mirror unearthed in Xuzhou was taken as an example to analyze the application of the design framework.From the selection of bronze mirror cases and the analysis of pattern modeling to the design of jigsaw puzzle task and the construction of the game process,the experimental analysis and discussion on the learning effect and the use process of jigsaw puzzle were carried out.Based on the results of case design and application analysis,the interaction process and experience of jigsaw puzzle case in MR are optimized by combining the interface features and interaction design method of Hololens device.And the rationality and effectiveness of the design framework of Han-Dynasty bronze mirror decorative pattern MR education game was verified.Finally,combined with the development status of traditional decorative patterns education diffusion and the application process and results of MR education game design framework of Han Dynasty bronze mirror decorative patterns,this thesis put forward some suggestions for improving the MR education game design framework,aiming to provide support for promoting the education diffusion of MR gamification of traditional decorative patterns.
