Preliminary Research On Bronze Mirrors From The Jin Dynasty

After the appearance of the Bronze Mirror in China,the Han Dynasty entered the prosperous period,after the gradual progress of the Wei,Jin and the southern and northern dynasties,it reached its peak in the Sui and Tang dynasties,although the production of the Bronze Mirror in the song,Liao and Jin dynasties fell sharply from its peak and developed slowly,but still shining.The Bronze Mirror of the Jin Dynasty is an important part in the history of the Bronze Mirror of ancient China.The study on the decorative features and dating of the bronze mirrors in the Jin Dynasty has always attracted the attention of scholars,but the current research mainly focuses on a specific area or a certain kind of decorative gold mirrors.There is a lack of comprehensive control and research on the whole appearance,the evolution of decorative patterns and the regional characteristics of the bronze mirrors of the Jin Dynasty.This article consists of the following five parts.Introduction,this paper explains the reason and significance of the topic,introduces the Research Status and difficulties of the Bronze Mirror of the Jin Dynasty,and puts forward the research methods.In the first chapter,more than 500 bronze mirrors of the Jin Dynasty were selected through the selection of published bronze mirrors such as Bibliographies,archaeological excavation reports,and introduction of bronze mirrors collected in museums around the world It is divided into three categories according to animal and plant patterns,character story patterns and other patterns.According to the artistic style of the same decorative pattern in different periods,the paper discusses the decorative features of the bronze mirrors in the Jin Dynasty.In Chapter 2,the bronze mirrors with inscription are divided into two kinds:bronze mirrors with inscription and bronze mirrors with inscription.To judge the time of Bronze Mirror engraving,the historical materials of the inscription are combined with textual research.The Bronze Mirror ornamentation of the Jin Dynasty was studied by using the bronze mirror as the standard and the bronze mirror as the reference tool.The third chapter is the regional study of the Jin Dynasty,which divides the Jin Dynasty into three regions:The People's hometown,the jin-occupied Khitan and the jin-occupied Northern Song Dynasty.Based on the conclusions of the first and second chapters,this paper makes a further study.The bronze mirrors were divided into areas according to the places where they were unearthed,collected and collected.The regional characteristics of the bronze mirror are judged from the aspects of its technology,quantity,subject matter and preference.The last chapter starts from the perspective of archaeology and focuses on the reasons for the special appearance of the bronze mirror in the Jin Dynasty.The Policy against copper and its impact have affected the casting process of the bronze mirrors of Jin dynasty and the popularity of antique mirrors.Combined with the regional characteristics of the gold mirror,the differences and connections between the Song and Liao bronze mirrors are discussed.
