Research On Zhang Shi’s Thought Of Ruling By Virtue

Zhang Shi,a famous scholar of Neo-Confucianism during the Qiandao period of the Southern Song Dynasty.He inherited his profound family learning origins and the orthodox thoughts of Neo-Confucianism,systematically and in-depth discussed many issues about Neo-Confucianism,and established his unique Neo-Confucianism thinking system,with the goal of studying things in a poor way and being a king inside and outside.Taking Zhang Shi’s rule of virtue as the research goal,I try to study the historical origin,philosophical basis,practice of rule of virtue of Zhang Shi,and explore the modern value of Zhang Shi’s rule of virtue.This article adopts the method of combining exegesis and interpretation.On the one hand,he extracts the "rule of virtue" from Zhang Shi’s Neo-Confucianism,and then deeply analyzes how he reinterprets the important concept of "rule of virtue" in Confucianism.On the other hand,Zhang Shi’s thought of “rule by virtue” was placed in the Song Dynasty’s time background,combined with Neo-Confucianism,and explored the "mutually subjective" relationship between Zhang Shi and NeoConfucianism.Exploring the characteristics of Zhang Shi’s interpretation of "rule by virtue" from a perspective.In the historical origin of Zhang Shi’s ideology of rule of virtue,the social and historical reasons for the emergence of Song agency theory are emphasized.Then it analyzes the historical background of Zhang Shi’s thought of rule of virtue from three aspects: "internal saints and external kings,relying on each other to form","benevolent and benevolent governance,mutual aid","both physical and functional,and effective at the bottom".Afterwards,he elaborated on Zhang Shi’s philosophical thoughts.Zhang Shi’s philosophical thinking is roughly divided into three parts: First,analyze Zhang Shi’s definition of "Tai Chi";he emphasizes that everything is unified in "Tai Chi",which is the root of everything at night;second,analyzes Zhang Shi’s "good nature" The connotation of Confucianism inherits the Confucian theory of human nature and gives full play to it.Third,Zhang Shi’s interpretation of "the theory of righteousness and benefit" believes that it is the traditional ethical and moral value orientation and the standard of good and evil.From these three aspects,Zhang Shi’s philosophy The ideological connotation was interpreted.In Zhang Shi’s practice of ruling the country by virtue,Zhang Shi’s work is mainly discussed from five aspects: “ruling the country by reasoning”,"the profession of the ruler","raising the people with the right way","maintaining morality and assisting punishment",and "improving internally and externally".When an official is in charge of one party,his main practice of rule of virtue.As a master of Confucianism,Zhang Shi devoted himself to spreading Confucian thoughts of governing the world and helping the people.At the same time,he reexamined the Confucian rule of virtue.He integrated Taoism,learning,governance,morality and merit,internal sage and external king.One body,defending the family,defending the country,fighting the Jin Dynasty and resurrecting Xinjiang,and governing the state through the lineage,enables the real spirit of Confucianism to be restored.In recent years,foreign domestic scholars have made a lot of research results on Zhang Shi’s thoughts and personal deeds,but the focus of the research is still on his science,pedagogy,etc.My characteristic is to study Zhang Shi from the perspective of rule of virtue Through combing and analyzing the historical roots,philosophical basis and practice of the rule of virtue,it explores the modern enlightenment of his thought.
