In the traditional era, not only China but many others countries in Asia including Vietnam had used the Rule of virtue to effectively accomplish their country governing. Many Vietnam ideologists considered the Rule of virtue as an important tool and combined it to the Rule of Law in order to have a proper ruling method.Confucianism has been introduced into Vietnam early, about111A.D. The fundamental ideologies of Confucianism gradually and slowly penetrated and caused great effect on Vietnamese people’s thoughts and daily life. Up to now, some of Confucianism ideologies still appear in many cultural behaviors of Vietnamese people. Many Vietnam emperors used Confucianism ideologies especially the Rule of virtue as a foundation for national governing and gained particular achievements in many aspects such as culture, politics and socio-economy.Every period of Vietnam history is attached to the thoughts and governing rules of some ideologists. Despite some differences, in general, all the ideologists used the Rule of virtue in Confucianism’s ideology as the foundation for all of their thinking and acting.Therefore, in the development of Vietnamese traditional there was unanimity of ideology as well as the stability of the politics. In Vietnam tradition society, there were two main ideologies strongly impacting on the old-school nation ruling methods namely Confucianism with its Rule of virtue and Legist with its Rule of law. Besides applying Confucianism, many ideologists made full use of Rule of law from the Legist as a supplement to their nation ruling methods. Rule of law was combined to Rule of virtue on the theme of Law as the main and Virtue as the assistance. The rule of virtue played the core role to govern the nation. As the result of this combination, there were more and more flexibility, humanity in the ruling methods in order to decrease the savage and cruelty of the Rule of law, which was helpful to the residents and supportive to the government.Mentioning the influence of Chinese Confucianism and its rule of virtue to Vietnam traditional, there were many concentrations and studies from many ideologists but most of them were just writing composition or lectures. Many of them hadn’t reach to the depth of the particular influence of Chinese Confucianism and its rule of virtue to Vietnam in particular periods of time. None of them could demonstrate the remarkableness, difference or similarity between Vietnamese and Chinese Confucianism.Therefore, in this composition, the author’s will is to further study the influence of Confucianism and its rule of virtue to the governing methods of Vietnam tradition ideologists. Consequently, there would come up with similarity, differences, disadvantages as well as advantages of this appliance to Vietnam tradition governing methods.In the research "The influence of confucianism and its rule of virtue to Vietnam", the author mainly studies the period from Le dynasty to Tay Son dynasty (15th century to18th century). This period had seen the infatuation of Confucianism and its rule of virtue, deeply impacted to the tradition Vietnam socio-politics. By analyzing some remarkable ideologies of the Rule of virtue in this period, the author would clarify the important influence of Confucianism and its rule of virtue to the governing methods of tradition Vietnam ideologists from15th-18th century.There are six sections in this composition:Section1:Introduction to the content of Confucianism。 Section2:analyses the basic meaning of Confucianism and its rule of virtue, and simultaneously analyzing the relationship among virtue rule’s inner elements. Section3:explores the Confucian virtue introduction, development process and its influence to Vietnam; many remarkble features have been emphasized as well as the importance of the development and the spread of virtue rule in Vietnam. Section4:the study of the peak of Confucianism development in15century. By analyzing some ideologies in governing methods of Nguyen Trai and Le Thanh Tong, then withdraw the similarity, differences between theirs and the Confucianism and its rule of virtue; simultaneously pointing out the advantages as well as disadvantages in their governing methods; Then, the advance and influence of virtue rule have been reviewed in Vietnam in15th century. Section5:Analyze the period when Confucianism and its rule of virtue lost its object of monolatry because of the social and political disorder in16th to17th century. In this period, most of the ideologist advocated harmonizing the three traditional religions (Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism). In order to find out the most appropriate solution for the present society, they supported the three traditional religions but Confucianism was the main core of this ideology. Le Quy Don and Ngo Thi Nham were two outstanding representatives of this period with the ideology of using "virtue" to maintain the social order. Analyzing their two ideologies, it was clearly seen the desire of a coming stable and peaceful politics as well as a prosperous country. Concurrently, the author also concludes some similarity, differences in their ideology in comparison to the Confucianism and its rule of virtue. Many advantages and disadvantages of their governing methods would be clarified in this section; clarifying the remarkable features of virtue rule in the contemporary society. Section6:on the foundation of researching, comparing, analyzing the Rule of virtue ideologies of four ideologists in Vietnam, the composition would demonstrate the influence of Confucianism and its rule of virtue to Vietnam tradition history. Thence, it would be clearly seen that Confucianism and its rule of virtue had played an important role and made great contribution to Vietnam’s rule of virtue in tradition society, and points out the Confucian virtue status in the contemporary society of Vietnam。...
