As China’s influence in the world continues to increase,more and more foreign friends are eager to learn Chinese culture,understand China,and know China.As an important carrier of Chinese culture,Chinese plays an irreplaceable role in cultural communication,and Chinese idioms have distinctive national characteristics.Verb-object idioms are an important part of idioms,which have the characteristics of fixed form,opaque semantics,and colloquialism.Verb-object idioms have always been the content that Chinese learners need to master.However,due to their large number,high frequency of use,semantic duality,and irreplaceable semantics,intermediate and advanced Chinese learners have difficulty in learning verb-object idioms.How to better teach idioms so that international students can speak Chinese fluently and idiomatically is of great significance for advancing the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.This article takes verb-object idioms as the research object,sorts out the verb-object idioms included in "Syllabic Chinese Characters Vocabulary Grades for Chinese International Education",and examines the "Intermediate Spoken Language" in the textbook "Developing Chinese"(Second Edition)The collection of idioms in "Ⅰ" and "Intermediate Spoken Language Ⅱ ".Collect corpus from HSK dynamic composition corpus and BCC modern Chinese corpus to analyze the errors of foreign students’ verb-object idiomatic expressions.On this basis,based on the perspective of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,I try to make corresponding suggestions on the collection principles of idioms in the "Vocabulary Syllabus",the compilation of foreign Chinese textbooks and teaching practices.This article mainly includes the following five chapters: Chapter One introduces the research background,significance and related research summary of the thesis,analyzes the reasons and significance of choosing verb-object idioms as the research object,and elaborates the main research methods of this research;The second chapter sorts out and classifies the idioms in "Vocabulary Classification" and "Development Chinese",and analyzes the connection and difference between the two books in the selection of verb-object idioms;the third chapter selects the BCC corpus and the HSK corpus,and compares Analyzed the similarities and differences in the use of verb-object idioms between Chinese and foreign students,and collected materials on errors of foreign students,and explained and analyzed the error classification of verb-object idioms and the reasons for the errors;Chapter 4 Combination The reasons for the misunderstanding of idioms include suggestions for advancing the teaching of foreign idioms from the three aspects of vocabulary outline selection,textbook compilation,and teaching practice.Chapter 5 summarizes the full text and points out the innovations and deficiencies of the research.
