The research of mood particles has a long history both at home and abroad,and the results of previous studies are also very rich,but because of the specific characteristics of Chinese itself and the lack of relevant theories,the study of mood particles is not thorough,and it is still necessary for research.As an important means of Chinese expression,the use of mood particles is indispensable.Whether Chinese learners can skillfully use mood particles directly affects the realization of their communicative effect and purpose.It is imperative to explore teaching methods according to the research results of modal particles and the existing problems of Chinese learners.In order to overcome the problem of traditional explanatory notes of previous research and try to solve the issue that the highly generalized core semantics can not explain all the practical use cases containing the modal particle /a/(啊)well,by using comparative analysis approach,this study analyzed 10000 use cases containing/a/(啊)collected through CCL corpus,hoping that a large number of data analysis can reveal the essential meaning of mood particle /a/(啊),and provide some feasible suggestions for the teaching of it.This thesis contains four chapter.The first chapter introduces the background,the reason,the purpose and significance of the research,and the detailed literature combing,according to the time order to show the previous research results;The second chapter discusses the meaning of the modal particle /a/(啊)in the declarative sentence,the interrogative sentence,the imperative sentence,and the exclamatory sentence,and finds that the main semantics of /a/(啊)are "affirming propositional content" and "emphasizing propositional content",these two kinds of semantics are most common in declarative sentences and have different degrees of reservation in interrogative and exclamatory sentences.In addition,the main function of /a/(啊)is to cause phonetic pauses and help strengthen the expression of human feelings and emotions;According to the research of this paper and the results of bias research,the third chapter not only puts forward three suggestions for the teaching of mood particle/a/(啊)——“paying more attention”,"making clear distribution,teaching comparatively" and "specifying usage,solidifying structure ",but also puts forward some suggestions for the adjustment of the content of International Curriculum for Chinese Language Education and Chinese textbooks,hoping to contribute to the improvement of mood particles’ teaching;The fourth chapter summarizes the research the result,and explain the shortcomings of this study and the future research direction. |
