Patting and printing patterns of pottery was produced by our ancestors in daily life,it’s variety with rich selection of materials,simple and generous,had strong texture,always forming occasionally,sometimes extensive,sometimes exquisite,has a strong regularity on visual.It has great significance to study the patting and printing patterns of pottery for inheriting the profound culture and spirit of our nation.This paper takes pottery patting and printing patterns as the research object,based on previous research results and formal beauty rules,discusses the evolution process,cultural connotation and artistic characteristics of patting and printing patterns.Through literature analysis,investigation,case analysis and other methods to study the research status of patch-and-print decoration at home and abroad,the classification and characteristics of Patting and printing patterns,the application of Patting and printing patterns in modern visual image design.Extract the corded and reticulated elements in the patting prints,from the contemporary aesthetic perspective,to summarize,abstract,simplify,analyze,reconstruct and innovate the corded pattern and reticulated pattern in Fuxi period,and find the combination point with Fuxi culture and explore the application mode of pattern decoration in the visual image design of Fuxi cultural tourism festival.Through Fuxi culture visual image design finishing Fuxi culture office application design,Fuxi culture festival activity publicity design,Fuxi culture derivative design,for Inheriting the unique cultural temperament of Xinle and improving the recognition of Fuxi culture,making contributions to build Xinle Fuxi cultural tourism brand.
