The online short-term oral Chinese courses of Beijing Language and Culture University have the characteristics of early opening time,rich content and high click volume.Its teaching mode and methods have certain reference significance for other colleges to carry out online short-term oral English courses.According to the classroom observation research on the new words teaching in the online short-term oral Chinese courses of Beijing Language and Culture University,it is found that the advantages of the new words teaching in the short-term online oral Chinese courses of Beijing Language and Culture University are: First,the multi-platform mixed teaching model,use different teaching platforms before class,during class and after class to give full play to the different teaching advantages of each platform;Second,in the teaching process,teachers have modified the content of the teaching materials according to the characteristics of online teaching,added supplementary materials such as videos and audios related to the theme,and used online teaching tools to design and supplement vocabulary exercise activities.This effectively help students to practice the production of new words;Thirdly,the teaching method of “teaching in middle school” turns students into the dominance of the classroom,increases the opportunities for students to use the words of the students for verbal output,and at the same time enhances the emotional communication between students.The unique teaching mode and advantages of the new words teaching in the online short-term oral Chinese courses of Beijing Language and Culture University reflect the good effect of the current new words teaching in the short-term online oral Chinese courses of Beijing Language and Culture University.But at the same time,there are also some problems in the teaching of new words in the short-term oral Chinese courses in Beiyu,for example: teachers are not paying enough attention to writing on the blackboard;Affected by network factors and teaching platforms,there is a lack of interaction between teachers and students,and between students and students,and the interest in the classroom is reduced;Teachers are not proficient in new media tools,etc.In response to the above problems,teachers should: Effectively use the resources of online teaching websites in classroom teaching.For example,the resources of the international Chinese teaching case database,Chinese teaching database and i Mandarin Pod are rich in types,advancing with the times and diverse in forms.Therefore,in the teaching process,teachers can use the video,audio,text and picture resources of online teaching websites such as i Mandarin Pod to make the context setting of online new words teaching more real;Deepen the “Zoom+” teaching model into all aspects of the new word teaching process,and strengthen the interaction between teachers and students in and out of class in the online teaching process.Establish a multi-channel interactive communication mode of Zoom+Quizlet /Arch Chinese / Wechat/ Tik Tok/ Language Partner.It is hoped that these suggestions can make up for the short-term online oral Chinese course teaching of new words and give new inspiration to the online short-term oral Chinese teaching.
